At lunchtime, Owen Lennon drove the car to the front door of the police station.
He originally wanted to wait for Rosalind to come out by herself, but after waiting for a full fifteen minutes, he didn't see any sign of her.
He took out his phone to make a call, but Rosalind didn't pick up. He thought irritably, that girl wouldn't chicken out, right?
He swung open the car door, got out, and entered the police station. Seeing him again, a policeman asked, "Attorney Lennon, what brings you here?"
"I came to find Rosalind."
Hearing him call Rosalind by her name, several officers exchanged glances. Clearly, there was something going on between them.
"Officer Rong got injured by a thief's knife this morning while catching the thief. She's at the hospital now."
Before the officer had finished speaking, Owen had already rushed out of the police station like a gust of wind.
He drove to the hospital at top speed and stormed into her ward, his face full of anger.
