"Mr. Forrest, Miss Quinlan, good afternoon."
Jane Quinlan waved her hands in puzzlement: "Good afternoon."
Then she turned her attention to Kay Forrest: "What's this all about? Why have these two ladies come together?"
"I'm taking you to a banquet tonight, and you need to dress up and stand by my side. They did a good job dressing you up last time, so I asked them to come over again," he explained.
Thinking of the marriage proposal scene from last time, Jane Quinlan's heart fluttered slightly: "What kind of banquet is it this time?"
"A criminal-catching convention," he chuckled, winking.
Jane Quinlan was surprised: "You're going to catch a criminal? What do you mean?"
"It's because of that tattoo on your ankle; people wear less at banquets, so it's easier to spot.
Alright, stop being a curious cat, just sit tight here, get changed and put on some makeup."
Paris Fashion staff took out the dress, leaving Jane Quinlan bewildered.
"I have to wear a dress in this cold weather?"
