Kay Forrest naturally wrapped his arm around Jane Quinlan's waist and looked towards Adriana Golden.
"Adriana, you're mistaken. I'm not Jane's boyfriend anymore, I'm her fiancé."
As he said this, he took Jane's hand and shook it in front of Adriana: "I've successfully proposed, and we're getting married next year."
Adriana let out an exclamation: "Oh my god, really? That's wonderful, congratulations to you two."
Jane Quinlan, embarrassed, pursed her lips and smiled.
Off to the side, Rowan Golden and Savannah Golden felt left out.
Seeing that no one paid attention to them, Savannah Golden circled around the car: "Jane, you're just here for a class reunion, do you need to put on such a grand display?
Renting a car like this, isn't that quite expensive?
We all understand what you're trying to show off, but really, what's the point?
Behind this vanity, how do you plan to get through the next few months?"
Jane Quinlan just smiled and said nothing.
