Chapter 5 - Inzaghi’s Awareness

Suker looked at the ball lying calmly in the goal, never thinking that under his own defense, this man would truly slip away.

He didn't think there was anything wrong with his assumption, but Suker managed to slip past his own defense, and Suker couldn't tell exactly where he was.

Compared to these, he now felt a slight fever on his face.

As soon as the front foot boasted over the sea, the opponent scored with his back foot.

But what really made it hard for Suker to accept was that this was the first time this guy touched the ball in the entire game, and he completed the goal with his first touch. What kind of opportunity is that?

However, Suker was not depressed by this; he thought that he could still protect himself from Suker, he just needed to take it seriously.

On the other side, Suker had already run to the crowd to interact with the fans.

The Mostar Rangers fans really liked Suker, especially the older ones, and they loved to pinch the chubby, round cheeks of baby Suker.

Like now, as soon as he ran to the fan area, the fans started to tease him.

A burly middle-aged man wearing a vest took Suker in his arms, vigorously messed up Suker's smooth black hair until it was all disheveled, and finally pinched Suker's chubby cheeks with his rough hands.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch!"

Suker's tears of pain were about to fall, but due to physical reasons, he couldn't resist at all.

Others simply found it hilarious.

"Suker! We also have a golden left-footed Suker!"

A fan laughed and clapped.

Of course, the Suker in his words wasn't the 150 cm tall Suker, but the super Croatian forward 'Golden Left Foot' Davor Suker.

Taking advantage of the laughter from the other side, Suker quickly freed himself from the man's arms. His cheeks, which had already been pinched, turned even more pink.

Suker rubbed his cheeks, his face extremely depressed.

He didn't really understand why these five big and three heavy guys liked rubbing his face so much. Even though his skin was very good and the baby fat was elastic, that wasn't a reason for these guys to massage it.

"Well done!"

Mlinar ran over, placed his hands under Suker's shoulders, and lifted him up.

Suker felt very embarrassed to be carried by the other person.

"Let me go! Let go of me!"

Suker shook his little short legs vigorously, but Mlinar didn't hesitate in the least and didn't even stop laughing.

This funny scene also made the surrounding fans smile warmly.

"You've made me so shameless!"

Suker's strong reprimand was once again ignored by Mlinar.

Even this guy learned from an old monkey in 'The Lion King' animation to show young Simba to the fans, which caused bursts of laughter.

Suker couldn't resist the other person and ended up covering his face, making the fans' laughter even more lascivious.

These Mostar Wanderers fans loved Suker, a young but goal-scoring boy.

The head coach on the bench, Olipe, also looked at Suker with a smile.

In his opinion, although Suker was an academy player, he had enough talent and ability to become a true professional in the future.

Yes!

Orich was convinced of this.

At the end of the celebration, the Mostar players returned to their own field amidst laughter.

On the other hand, the players of Sarajevo FC had gloomy faces, especially Bazel, who looked at Suker as if he were on fire, as if he were about to eat the opponent.

"They are attacking you!"

Mlinar looked at Suker and joked.

Suker pulled up his slippery socks and fastened his shin guards again before turning his head and smiling.

The smile was very confident, as if silently announcing something.

Soon, at the referee's signal, Sarajevo FC kicked off again.

After taking the lead by one goal, their overall atmosphere and form improved even more.

And with a one-goal lead, they weren't in such a hurry but began to defend more firmly.

At the same time, Suker's side was in Bazel's sights.

This time, Bazel didn't focus so much on Mlinar but kept Suker as close as he could.

Even the moment Suker touched the ball, Bazel quickly leaned in with his body, using confrontation to make Suker lose possession.

But Suker was also very clever. He knew his weaknesses, and the difference between the two was too large, obviously not a confrontation capital, so he almost always passed the ball to the sides of the field and then quickly turned to rely on his agility to cut forward.

And this made Bazel play more and more uncomfortably.

Bazel was a heavy central defender with a strong physique and height advantage, but at the same time, he lost flexibility.

The slowness in turning was a common problem for this type of center-backs, and that's the idea Suker was playing with.

In the second division of Bosnia and Herzegovina, their tactics were monolithic. Each position had its fixed responsibilities, and there was a lack of flexibility.

The full-backs didn't clean up after the center-backs, which ultimately led to the exposed characteristic of slow rotations of the center-backs.

However, during this process, Suker didn't feel well.

An enraged Bazel crashed into Suker's body every time they faced off, putting more pressure on him.

Under the great impact, Suker was knocked to the ground repeatedly, but each time, he gritted his teeth and stood up.

Under such pressure, Suker's knees were bruised, his shirt was stained with green grass, and his arms were a little red and swollen.

The referee didn't blow the whistle for a foul, which was the standard of the Bosnia and Herzegovina league.

The most brutal league was not the rhetoric.

Suker could only endure this confrontation and look for an opportunity to score.

At this point, Mlinar dribbled the ball forward. It wasn't fast, but Sarajevo FC also took their time to tackle.

By the time they got closer, Mlinar had already passed the ball to Suker's feet.

"Don't even think about turning!"

Bazel immediately ran over, and Suker also heard the roar behind him.

After Suker stopped the ball, he didn't turn around but instead took a few steps forward with his back to the goal.

Bazel wasn't calm enough, and after seeing Suker's movements, he immediately chased him down to make Suker suffer more.

But just as Bazel was about to collide with Suker, Suker split the ball to the right.

When the two collided, Mlinar brushed past Suker, collected the ball, and continued the advance, sending it directly into the penalty area.

Yes~~~!

Suker shouted and was knocked down by Bazel.

But this time, Suker didn't stand still. Instead, he grabbed Bazel's shirt tightly with his right hand to prevent the opponent from turning to defend.

"Let me go!"

Bazel roared angrily, but Suker had no intention of letting go.

When Bazel turned his head again, Mlinar had already made a move to shoot.

"Wow!"

Bazel seemed to panic, only to see Mlinar strike the ball, which showed an upward trajectory, flew beyond the goalkeeper's ten fingers, and broke the top net inside the goal.

Mostar Rangers doubled their lead in the 36th minute.

Two goals ahead!

With Mostar Rangers leading by two goals, their morale greatly increased, and their attack pace became even more intense.

For this kind of low-level players, their discipline wasn't as strict, and they couldn't maintain stable defense when they had the advantage.

Generally, it was a direct defeat for the other side at once.

Especially after entering the second half, Bazel had completely lost the ability to limit Suker.

Despite his strong physique, Suker dribbled him like a big, stupid bear, and in the end, Sarajevo FC substituted Bazel, who had performed poorly.

"I can limit him! Just give me a little more time!"

Bazel was substituted, his face filled with confusion.

In this regard, the teammates surrounding him and the head coach watched him in silence.

Coach Netherves sighed and said, "You haven't interfered with him all this time; it's football, not wrestling."

Upon hearing this, Bazel's face suddenly turned red.

"Take a good look at that guy's position!"

Bazel turned his head to see Suker in front of the goal line, constantly moving from left to right.

Even most of the time, this guy went from the far left to the far right and was always able to get past the central defenders' defense, forming a tendency to move forward.

"This guy."

Bazel frowned slightly.

Coach Netherves: "Do you see it? The sense of movement of this little guy is always in the right place at the right time, whether shooting or passing, and his presence makes the Mostar Rangers' attack extremely threatening."

Finally, Coach Netherves sighed: "His ability to read the game and his running positioning is beyond this level of league; this detachment awareness compensates for his weak body and, at the same time, allows him to score 8 goals in the league. Now, it's 9!"

In the midfield, Suker kept running.

His head moved back and forth to observe the field.

The information he had observed created a panoramic view of his position in his mind.

He could clearly see the opponent's defensive layout and the weaknesses in the defense.

Those dark eyes kept flashing, turning him into an eagle circling above the field.

This was his greatest confidence and BUG!

Inzaghi's Awareness

The phantom elf on the front line, Inzaghi, was a man who was active in the offside line, and his presence had tested many giants' defenses over and over again.

And the awareness helped him a lot in positioning.

Inzaghi himself said that this kind of talent is innate; if it's there, it's there; if not, it can't be cultivated.

For this reason, Suker's state at this moment, his vision and overall view, were absolutely overwhelming in this game.

"It's now!"

Suker took a few steps back, then turned around and sprinted, his sprint extremely firm, his legs kicking downwards, his head lowered, and he launched himself.

He didn't even look at the pass, relying on Mlinar's trust.

And the surrounding fans also reacted, as evidenced by their exaggerated excitement.

Ball. Here it comes!

The moment Suker looked up, he saw the ball appear above his head, slightly slowed down, adjusted with small steps, and made a shot against the falling ball.

The play also caused the Sarajevo FC center-back to slide in front of Suker in an attempt to block.

But Suker's right foot, lifted, came down slowly, and the ball dropped to the ground with the instep, moving in the opposite direction, creating an excellent angle for the shot.

He adjusted his feet again and hit the ball with his toes.

The ball shot quickly toward the goal, and the next second, the net trembled.

Suker scored twice to complete the goal again, and at the same time, killed the suspense of the game!
