As soon as he entered through the door, he was welcomed by very delicious fragrance.
Looking at the man that was in kitchen, Simon felt this ache in his heart that he could not describe.
"Is this the emotion of my predecessor"
He felt it was only explanation for this emotion he now felt.

When he gained his predecessor memory, he always kept them separate from his memory not wanting to mix them up, but looking at the back of that man, he saw his own father from his past life shadow him.
Knowing that he needed to accept it someday a light sigh escaped his month.

Simon came from single-parent family, his mother left them, never to be seen again when he and his sister was young.
Leaving his father to take care of both of them single-handedly. With his father taking the role of two parents, the hardship he endured was not something outsider could understand, especially when his company went under and declaring bankrupt shortly after.

"I just awakened my skill" Simon said with disapproval.

His sister gave him a glare and added "You know, after the trails were completed, the school hung a poster that said, 'Congratulations to Simon Reid, Ivan Tarnell and Sophia Grace for bringing glory to the school"
"Sophia Grace? She also awakened too?"
Simon was a little surprised.

The meal was scrumptious. Simon awakening was an earth-shatter events for him and his family. They were having the day of their life.
Dinner ended really late, and after he dismissed his excited sister, Simon returned to his room and tried to absorb Astral energy.
"First thing first, how do I absorb Astral energy? They say that as long as one awakened, they can sense Astral energy around them and also absorb it into their body. I should be able to do it as well!"
Simon took a deep breath and completely calmed himself.

As unknow time passed, Simon relaxed. His breathing becoming rhythmic and his heartbeat slowed down.

Suddenly, Simon saw light spot moving around him like firefly glowing in the darkness. It was flying around randomly. From then he saw more and more appearing around him.
"Is this Astral energy?"
The magical energy that brought down disaster and made the world a hellscape.
At the same time, it brought hope to mankind.
Looking at the light spots, he wished to consume it.
As this thought appeared in is mind, Simon noticed the nearest light spot moving toward him and disappearing into his body.
Then more and more light spots entered into his body, filling him with this warn current that made his mind and body calm down more and more pulling him into a state of equilibrium.
"This feeling?" it's amazing"
Even though it felt good but it was slow as a snail, absorbing one by one took forever, but he was not impatience the feeling of growing stronger every second, every minute was addictive.
While absorbing the "Light shot".
Time passed without him realizing it was already morning and alarm clock woke him.
"It's already six in morning? Time sure flies when you grow stronger"
But he did not feel tired nor sleepy after an all-nighter at all.
Instead, he was full of energy and never felt better.
"Brother, are you up yet?"
His sister's voice rang outside, and she still sounded very excited.
"I'm up"
Simon opened the door and saw his sister with black eyes, he understood that his sister all did not sleep in the night because of the excitement "Olive, you did not sleep well, did you?"
