Dorian Howards twisted the doorknob, but didn't manage to open the door. It was locked, and Dorian cursed, "Damn it, the door is actually locked."
Normally, locking a door was normal, but right now, he wanted to get Mabel Quinn inside. If they delayed any longer, who knew how much more Kyle inside would suffer. At this moment, Dorian was terribly anxious.
Seeing Dorian about to force the door open, Mabel Quinn quickly recited the door's electronic password. Dorian slapped his forehead, realizing he was so worried he had forgotten to ask Mabel. Dorian couldn't help but curse himself as a pig mentally; he was just making things worse.
"But I don't know if he's changed the password," Mabel Quinn said, slightly biting her lip.
"We won't know until we try." Dorian quickly entered the password. With a "click," the door opened in response. Dorian turned the doorknob, and as the door was pushed open, the sounds from inside reached their ears.
