"Mom, look at you!" Joseph Lancaster seemed helpless, "I knew you'd ask like this, so I didn't dare to tell you."
"What about us? We care about you!" Lorelei Howard said discontentedly, "An ugly daughter-in-law has to meet the in-laws sooner or later; you can't hide her forever!"
"Sigh," Joseph Lancaster sighed as if he was in a difficult situation, "Her father is an ordinary worker, her mother doesn't work..."
"Well, what about your girlfriend, does she work?" Lorelei Howard interrupted her son anxiously; if the girl doesn't work, even if she's as pretty as a flower, she wouldn't agree.
Although the Lancaster Family is rich and doesn't care about the girl's family conditions, if not seeking equal social status, at least the conditions should be similar. If they marry into a poor family, they'd be laughed at by others!
Joseph Lancaster smiled, looking very helpless, "Mom, if she didn't have a job, how would we have met!"
