"Come on, man, no way," Felix Shaw wouldn't admit it and craned his neck to glance behind Nicholas Croft, disappointed when he saw he was alone. "Man, you're something else. Why didn't you bring a few celebrities over? Just us guys is kind of boring."
After Nicholas Croft came in, he casually closed the door. The tall man ambled over, his long legs even more pronounced, and sat down in an empty seat at the card table, smiling, "Hey, Felix, haven't you been hitting it off with a starlet lately? What? Already moved on?"
Speaking of his "new flame," Felix Shaw tossed his playing cards onto the table with a sigh, saying, "Ugh, don't mention it. We barely got cozy before she went off to shoot a movie."
Nathan Moore was reclined in his chair, silently smoking a cigarette, completely lost in his own world, not even acknowledging Nicholas Croft's arrival.
