Felix Shaw whistled proudly, grasped the roses placed on the top of the car shed by Mia Foster, and as he circled around the front of the car, he even blew a kiss towards the company's entrance. A burst of exclamations followed; the young female employees all blushed, envious of how fortunate their manager was to have such a romantic fiancé.
Opening the car door, Felix quickly sat in, stuffed the roses back to Mia, and said as he started the engine, "I'll take you to dinner."
Mia looked down at the bouquet without much expression. She wasn't clear why Felix was doing this; the reason she agreed to come out was not only to spare him from losing face, but more importantly, to make things clear.
At a Chinese restaurant, Felix had reserved a table in advance and even pre-ordered the dishes. The two sat down by the window, and Mia casually placed the bouquet aside.
While waiting for the meal, Mia took the initiative to speak.
