Feeling played like a clown in a circus, Sophia Hamilton was enraged. In her anger, she grabbed Evander Lancaster's arm and bit down hard.
"Ah..." Evander Lancaster cried out in pain, looking at the neat set of teeth marks on his hand, "You bitch!"
"Serves you right!" Sophia Hamilton dodged the car keys and harshly spat out the words before turning to head for the door.
Evander Lancaster's cry of pain woke up Titus Zane, who lifted his head, looked around with sleepy eyes, and then turned to Nathan Moore, "What's happened? Why do I hear someone screaming?"
"It's nothing, go back to sleep. A male dog's just in heat," Nathan Moore gently patted Titus Zane's shoulder, a smile playing around his eyes.
"A male dog? Where did it come from? Are we keeping a dog at home?" Titus Zane propped himself up on the sofa, searching around until his eyes landed on Evander Lancaster standing forlornly at the door.
