Everyone held their breath, including Titus Zane, for the unusually tense atmosphere.
Under everyone's gaze, they saw Nathan Moore put down his chopsticks, gracefully take a napkin to wipe the corner of his mouth, and with a smile that was not quite a smile, looked at no one in particular, and said slowly and deliberately.
"Uncle, everyone likes the fine things in life, and that includes beautiful women."
Nathan Moore continued after placing the napkin back on the table, "In today's society, a successful man's must-haves are luxury cars and beautiful women. I believe uncle is well aware of that. It's natural to admire beauty, and all I did was state a truth. Why would you misinterpret it as a lack of decorum?"
Nathan Moore's words angered Julian Zane so much he was almost breathless. Although it was a truly outrageous statement, Nathan had managed to articulate it in such a refined and unhurried manner.
