Once we were safe, perched atop that wind-beaten hill in the Shadowlands, I finally felt my heartbeat return to a calmer rhythm. Selene was still eyeing me from the side, worried. Reinhardt, arms crossed, was deep in thought.
"Alright," he finally said, breaking the silence. "We've seen enough for today. It's time to visit the mercenary market."
"A market?" Selene asked, intrigued.
"Yes. It's a bit further, deep in the forest of the Shadowlands. It's a hidden area, a place not marked on official maps. You can find everything there: rare gear, forgotten artifacts, contracts... even information."
I nodded.
"That's exactly what we need before planning our entry into Solaria."
Selene frowned.
"And how long will it take?"
"On foot, half a day if we don't dawdle. On horseback, two hours max," Reinhardt replied.
"Well," I said, stretching my arms, "a good chance to walk. My legs got too used to that damned carriage."
