"Come out. No need to hide," Nova said calmly.
As Nova's words fell, a boy no older than sixteen stepped out from hiding. His expression was unreadable—unnervingly calm.
The boy started to approach them, his arms folded behind his back. He looked carefree but cold at the same time.
Itachi narrowed his eyes. "...You."
The boy's lips curled faintly. "It's a surprise you found me so easily," he said, looking at Nova. Despite trying hard, he couldn't sense any chakra from him—which interested him a little.
Serafall tilted her head curiously and asked the question on her mind. "Who's this kid? He feels strong."
Itachi's response was immediate, laced with an unusual mix of caution and familiarity. "He's the grandson of one of the clan elders."
Nova stepped forward, nodding slightly. "Oh? Then that elder must be second only to your father, right?"
Itachi blinked because the voice came directly into his mind. Looking around, the other two were also a little shocked. "…Yes," Itachi still answered, eyes narrowing. It was the first time he had encountered a ninjutsu that could communicate without any hand signs.
Nova's tone didn't change. "And recently, this boy has been showing incredible potential."
Itachi and Shisui shared a glance.
"…That's true," Shisui said, his voice low.
Nova smiled slightly, inwardly confirming what he had suspected. As expected, it's the straightforward plot of a fanfiction. No twists yet… which means he must have transmigrated recently. If this boy had transmigrated a few years earlier, then this world would have changed completely.
Meanwhile, Serafall stepped forward with her usual cheer. "You were nearby during the battle—why didn't you help Shisui when he was in danger?"
The boy's calm expression didn't falter. "He is not worthy of my help. The one who betrayed the clan must die."
Those words cut through the air with cold arrogance.
Serafall frowned, her expression stiffening.
The boy's eyes moved over her, pausing briefly on her figure. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. The people from the future really have good looks, he thought, and then spoke up, "What's your name, miss?"
Serafall's eyes narrowed instantly. "You sound like a bad guy, you know that? Anyway, I'm a Magical Girl—Serafall Leviathan! And that," she pointed dramatically to Nova, "is our team leader!"
"I see," the boy said casually. His eyes shifted back to Nova, assessing. "You don't look like much… and yet, you're in the territory of the Uchiha clan. What exactly are you doing here? This is Uchiha territory. Even people of the village can't enter here unless we allow them."
He turned his gaze back to Serafall, his tone tightening with disdain—after all, girls like bad boys. "You should be punished for trespassing—but since you helped a member of our clan, even if he is a traitor, I'll allow you to avoid prison. If you don't want your… friend to be jailed, follow me. I'll speak on your behalf to my father."
After saying this, he smiled—but it was the kind of smile that made the air colder.
For a moment, Serafall felt a chill she couldn't explain.
"It's enough, Uchiha Lin," Itachi said, stepping forward. His voice was calm but firm. "They are our guests."
The boy tilted his head slightly, his smile never leaving. "Are you opposing me, Itachi? Don't you know who I am?"
His eyes turned scarlet.
Three tomoe spun into place.
Itachi's breath caught. Wasn't he just a genin a few months ago? How does he already have a fully formed Sharingan? I didn't even know he had it at all.
Itachi looked at him seriously. He hadn't expected that Lin would hide so deeply—this was a danger to the village that must be eliminated.
"I know who you are, but I think you've forgotten my identity. And as the child of the clan leader, I order you to withdraw."
Suddenly, the boy's eyes changed—morphing into the swirling shuriken shape of the Mangekyō Sharingan.
Shisui, sensing danger, stepped forward, placing himself in front of Itachi. "Itachi, this guy has a Mangekyō… I'll handle him."
The boy snorted. "You think you're worthy?"
Blood trickled from the corners of his eyes.
Shisui gritted his teeth feeling denger, channeling all his chakra into his right eye. "Let's find out who is worthy."
His Mangekyō flared, and with a burst of energy, Susanoo erupted around him. The armor was green in color—but as soon as it emerged, it was covered with black flames and started to melt.
"Don't underestimate me!"
From the burning Susanoo, projectiles of green energy formed and launched forward. Even Amaterasu's flames were pushed back.
Shisui breathed heavily, his chakra already draining .
When the projectiles him Uchiha lin it exploded and smoke cover the place.
"Is he okay?" When Shisui's words fell, both Nova and Serafall looked at him in surprise. He doesn't want to kill the person who wants to kill them… just because he's from his clan?
Good guy… if he finds out what Itachi did, wouldn't he go mad? Nova thought to himself.
Soon, the smoke cleared.
Nothing had happened to Lin, just as Nova expected. The boy stood tall, his own Susanoo shielding him. It was deep purple in color—and unlike Shisui's, his Susanoo was twice the size.
Serafall's eyes widened in amazement. "Whoa… what's that?"
Nova stayed quiet, eyes locked on the boy.
"Impressive," Lin said coolly. "You're the first one who managed to survive my Amaterasu… but this is the difference between you and me."
His Susanoo raised an arm—pure power crackling in its hand.
Nova sighed and raised a hand gently.
"That's enough. Time of your death have come, you parasite," Nova said, and a sword materialized in his hand.
