With that, he turned on his heel and stormed out of the room, his cloak billowing behind him. Liam silently followed.
A young lady with golden hair was lying unconscious on the bed, her face pale, and her lips dry and cracked.
A middle-aged man was seated beside her, his expression grim as he checked her pulse, placing two fingers gently on her wrist.
"When is she going to open her eyes? Why is it taking forever?" Dimitri asked, his voice trembling with panic and worry. He paced back and forth anxiously, unable to stay still.
Just then, Sorayah's eyes fluttered open...slowly at first....then fully, causing a wave of relief to wash over the doctor, who let out a soft sigh, and Dimitri, who had immediately rushed to her side.
"Sorayah!" Dimitri called out, his voice cracking with emotion. He dropped to his knees beside the bed, clutching her hand tightly. "You're finally awake. You scared me... I was terrified. How are you feeling?"
