Despite Auri's threats, Marza still refused to talk. The woman was tightlipped and uncooperative. She must be thinking his words were just empty threats.
Auri balled his fists and glared at Marza, who only smirked at him in response.
Ambassador Jiang emerged from the stairwell behind him. "I tried to dispel the seal, but it did not yield. The enchantment is layered and unfamiliar to me."
Clenching his jaw, Auri marched towards the woman who loved crafting illusions with sand.
"What's the matter, Mister? Magic door giving you trouble? Maybe if you beg nicely, the door will open out of pity. Though I doubt even that would work for you."
"You have one last chance to speak, or else—"
"Or else what? What exactly can a loser like you do, hmm?"
Auri glowered down at Marza's smug face. Then, without warning, he pressed his palm in the middle of her chest.
