First of all, I want to apologize to everyone for updating so late. It was my final year at university, and the process of trying to find a job was extremely stressful. During that time, I honestly didn't feel like doing anything, which is why I took such a long break.
Right now, even though I'm still looking for a job, I feel mentally more at ease. So I decided to start writing again.
I had read SS up to the last update I made, and to be honest, I didn't enjoy it that much. But since the worldbuilding is really good, I decided to keep going.
Before continuing, I want to summarize everything so far and fix some missing parts by rewriting what I have in mind from beginning to end.

Morpheus Valor is the second prince of the Valor clan, and he is extremely talented with the sword. The reason behind this talent is that he was created by the Forgotten — although Morpheus himself doesn't know that.
He is still a teenager, and he wants to live a normal life, just like in the books he reads. However, his father Anvil's expectations constantly push him to improve his swordsmanship.
He doesn't think he has a good relationship with his older sister. He believes she is just like the other rivals obsessed with surpassing him, and that she envies him.
That was the case… until he turned sixteen.
That was when he stepped into the Nightmare.

His first Nightmare revolves around Will Auceptin and the Fate Devil's deal, which results in Will's life being ended.
In this Nightmare, the world of LOTM had been destroyed under the attack of the Outer Gods. The surviving gods (Tarot Club and others) left behind Will — who was nearly decapitated — to serve as the protector of the last remaining humans.
Instead of creating a new world, Will used his own body as the foundation, forming a space where humanity could live in peace.
Imagine cutting a donut into four parts, with each piece representing a season, and the donut continuously rotating.
For a while, everything went well…
But Will's corruption gradually grew worse, causing the seasons to become extreme. Over time, humans began to die, animals mutated, and adapted to the harsh seasonal changes.
Morpheus entered this world as the last surviving human.
Before meeting Will, he endured unbearable loneliness, suffered injuries, and began to lose his sanity.
When he finally encountered Will, the liquid he drank was Will's blood from before the corruption.
Later, Will bit Morpheus and forcibly turned him into a Titan. This would increase his resistance to the corruption in his blood.
The blood he drank also granted him regenerative abilities.
When Morpheus entered the River of Blood, the corrupted blood slowly shattered his cores one by one. However, this meant his soul took less damage.
When he reached the bottom, he cut through one final layer of flesh and entered the body of a giant serpent. He shattered its heart and ate its flesh.
By the time he drank Will's blood, his pathway had already been determined — and this sealed his body's transformation completely.

After these events, Morpheus developed a deep hatred toward the gods.
In the Nightmare, he gained the ability to control blood, but he could no longer move his own body. This led to him being expelled from his clan.
His blood control ability is overwhelmingly powerful, so he begins trying to master its sensitivity while studying at the academy.
He can also use blood manipulation to heal.
After long efforts, he can only move his arm — but if he forces it too much, the veins in his arm burst under the pressure.

After experiencing such intense loneliness in the first Nightmare, Morpheus becomes obsessed with making friends.
So in the Dream Realm, he tries to befriend everyone — but since he spent most of his life in the Valor clan, his methods are… unusual.
At the end of the Dream Realm, he sends everyone away and remains behind alone.
He searches the entire area by flying, and just like Nephis, he finds the path.
Throughout the entire process, he gradually regains control of his body (by controlling it through blood) and digest potions.

When he dives into the Nightmare once more, he finds himself inside the body of a possessed Beyonder.
Before he can escape, he is restrained through rituals and tortured.
Corruption seeps into his body for days.
Then, when Klein distracts the fanatics performing the ritual, Morpheus uses that brief moment to annihilate them all with his power.
I won't go deeper into the LOTM part here.

At present, Morpheus's corruption is at an advanced stage.
He no longer has the strength to resist, which allows Adam's words to sink into him without any defense.
When he meets the Forgotten again and is forged once more, he begins remembering his past lives — and how horribly each of them ended.
This thirst for revenge drives him insane.
Klein intervenes using the Gray Fog, and Sunless's prayer provides an anchor.
With this, Morpheus manages to preserve at least part of his sanity and continues fighting.
That is where the story stands so far.

I will continue this story.
At the same time, I'm also working on another project: a game where followers spin a wheel to generate a character (a Beyonder), then fight in an arena using their abilities.
