Shiro walked through the desolate landscape, his body weak, his senses dulled. He could feel the world had changed—this was no longer the time of the Ōtsutsuki clan's reign. The land bore the marks of war and civilization, yet something deeper disturbed him.
Kaguya is not here.
He reached out with his mind, trying to sense even a fragment of her presence. Nothing. His heart clenched. His mother—his goddess—was gone. The realization sent a wave of fury through him, but his weakened state kept his emotions in check. He needed power. He needed answers.
His hand instinctively reached for a weapon that was no longer there—Yamato. His sword, his lifeline, his proof of strength, had been stripped from him, just like his abilities. Hagoromo's seal had been thorough.
Grinding his teeth, he focused on the one thing that mattered: survival. If he was to free Kaguya, if he was to have his revenge, he needed to regain his lost strength.
That's when he heard it—voices.
Crouching low, he moved towards the sound, careful to stay hidden. His once-godly power may have been sealed, but his instincts remained. He spotted two figures—humans—wearing strange armor, bearing weapons unlike anything he had seen before.
"A shinobi patrol," he muttered.
Memories surfaced—Hagoromo's teachings of chakra, the clans that followed his ways. These must have been his descendants. The very people who owed their existence to the one who betrayed Kaguya.
Shiro's eyes darkened. He needed information.
And if these humans carried even a shred of Hagoromo's teachings—then he would take from them what was rightfully his.
