Susannah was dancing in the kitchen making coffee for someone, Jasper stared at her. "You look happy." Jasper put his phone down as Susannah smiled at him.
"My brother is coming over." She cheered.
Seraphine raise her eyebrow. "I didn't know you had a sibling?" Susannah shake her head. "Not really he Uncle's son."
"Oh." Jasper not really invested no more. Then the elevator door opens walk in was a well built man with tools on his belts and a travel bag with more tools as he placed it down on the ground and raised his arms for an embrace. His forearms were covered in tattoos that were designed as lilies.
"Little sis!" He cheered. Susannah ran into his arm. "Cole!" He twirled her around as his black hair covered his eyes. He placed her down and petted her head. Cole Raven fixed robotics limbs as his part time job but also studied technology as his course.
"Hello students, I'm Cole Raven." Cole places his arms on his hips, Susannah goes back to the kitchen. "Coffee?"
Cole followed behind her. "I gotta quit that stuff, but you make the best coffee, Sis." As the two talk some more, Quinn walks in to see Cole and Susannah.
"Greeting Students and Cole is that you?" Quinn put his hands behind his back. "Hey Uncle Quinn." He waved at the HeadMaster.
"Dad, I'm getting new limbs." Susannah was excited. Quinn raises an eyebrow and looks at Cole. He raise his hands. "Yeah just upgrade." Quinn leans on the table. "Upgrade?"
Ms.Donovan touch Quinn's shoulder. "Sir, I need to talk to you about something." Quinn nodded. "Of course, you do your thing Cole." As the HeadMaster and the teacher walk away. As Susannah sat in a chair with her robotics legs on the table, Cole pull out some of his tools.
Susannah was swinging her thighs. "So what is the upgrade, bro?" Cole picks up her left leg and opens the bottom of the foot. "Silent steps." Cole exclaimed. "My footsteps will be soundproof?" She tilts her head.
"Yeah but my name is better." He pouted as he finished the upgrade on her legs, he connected the left leg first to her thigh. She moved her leg up and down. She gave him a thumbs up, as he did the right leg next.
Cole sat across from her. "Arm please?" Susannah nodded and twisted her right arm off and gave it to Cole.
He scoffed. "Another arm." Susannah pouted and pulled off her left one. "No fair."
Cole opens a panel in her arm. "The sooner I'm done with your dominant arm the better." He chuckled. As she sighed. "Fine."
HeadMaster Office*
Ms.Donovan put some reports on his desk. "There have been reports on more patients."
"Good work." Quinn looks through them. Ms.Donovan put her head down and clear her throat.
"So HeadMaster?" She asked. He lifted his head up. "Yes, Ms.Donovan?"
Donovan rub her hands together. "Me and you work together for a long time and I wonder...."
Quinn chuckled. "You're trailing off Ms.Donovan." He sang.
Donovan's face turns red. "Can you call me Eloise?"
Quinn turn his head. "No thank you Ms.Donovan." She flinched and put her hands to her side. "Of course that was stupid request." She tried to laugh.
"Yes it was, you're good to go." He rubs salt on the wound as she left and closes the door as Mr.Luther steps in front of her. "Bonjour, Luther."She wiped her eyes as she used a smile to cover up her sadness.
Luther got closer to her. "You're upset." He expressed. She was a little shocked but still tried to hide it. "What?"
"You speak French when you're upset." Luther explained. She chuckled. "Nothing gets past you, Luther." He covers his mouth trying to hide his red face.
"Please call me, Indigo." He declared.
She put her arms behind her back, "That's very unprofessional." He backed away. "Oh sorry."
"You have to call me Eloise to make it even." She giggled. He rub the back of his neck. "Of course." Then back to Susannah and Cole.
Cole was working on her arms but noticed Susannah being quiet. "Earth to Lily." Usual she talking about her day, tugging on her shirt if she gets bored or nervous. Or she want to know if Cole in a relationship.
Susannah sat up and sighed. "I was thinking about a question a student asked, my childhood?" Cole almost dropped her arm.
"Me and you grew up together." Cole chuckled, almost like he was hiding something. Susannah added on.
"Yes but I remember around nine." She sighed, Cole squeezed her arm a little tight. "You were a late bloomer, most kids start remembering around 2 or three." He explained.
"I guess it kinda got me thinking...." Susannah start biting her lip skin. Cole flick her forehead. "Oww!" She rubs her forehead.
"Stop being a dummy." Cole demanded. He finished his work, "All done."
Susannah stood up and test her limbs. He closed his tool case, "I will be staying in the city for a while." She walked over to him.
"You could stay in one of the dorm rooms?" She suggested.
"Nah, I got another appointment, Sis." Cole hugged her, Susannah rubbed her face in his chest but did not hug him back.
"I want to hug for real." She whispered.
Quinn came around the room. "Lily?"
"Yeah Dad." She turned to him.
"You alright?" Quinn walks over to them. Cole let go of her.
"Yep is there anything I can help you with?" Susannah smiled. Quinn petted her head.
"I was gonna tell you that me and you have a mission together?"
Susannah cheered. "Really I get to come with you?!"
"Yep to the underworld but put on your mission uniform." He smiled. She nodded and ran to her room. "Yes Sir!"
Underworld City*
Susannah and Quinn sat in the back of the car with Luther as the driver. Quinn pulled out a hologram picture showing a small shop.
"The drug by Silence Thorn is called Buttefly. We are gonna destroy a little shop they have." He explained. "Let finish before a certain detective catch on." Susannah had her hands on her lap.
Luther cleared his throat. "Not to question your parents skills Sir. But why is little Quinn with us?" He looked through the rear view mirror. Quinn cross his legs. "Lesson." He declared. As Susannah was biting her lip.
Quinn flick her forehead. "Sorry I'm nervous." She smiled, Quinn put ointment on her lip.
"Don't be nervous, So Susannah I'm given you two choices; Stay in the car or come with me and Luther?" Quinn warned. Luther park the car as the sound of the hover wheels hummed down.
"I'm coming with you of course." She nodded her head. As the three walk through the alley to see a small shop that looks like a Flora shop. Quinn points to another building behind them as they made there way up to the roof. Susannah put her left arm close to her nose, her hologram can show a heat motion sensor. "There are still people inside." Susannah announced.
Quinn brings out a button and places it in front of her. "Here's a button to warn them."
Luther raise his hand. "Sir that-"
Quinn put a finger to his mouth. "Shhh." Luther sighed and turned around. Then as Susannah pushes the button, the building was set ablaze. She gasped as her hands was shaking, Quinn had his hands on her shoulders.
"No way." She mumbled.
Quinn's lip shiver, he never wanted this life for her but he did give her a choice. "Congrats Lily, your first real mission as the Next HeadMistress." She closed her eyes not wanting to see anymore. "Open your eyes, Susannah you cause this." He warned her. But what they didn't know was that a few blocks down Runa was watching them with a young man behind her.
"So that is what you're doing, Quinn." Runa scoffed. "She not gonna be happy, Runa. After I work so hard looking for those people." He smiled.
"Those drugs pay for cloning more Belladonna and the stealing we did, guess we need to distract him and, you're up Usher." Runa put her parasol behind her.
His black locs that cover his forehead, his dark pink eyes gaze down at Susannah. His stripe blue and white shirt blow in the wind with his dark grey sleeveless vest, his dark pant secure with his blue boot but what was off color from his outfit was a pink sash belt around his hip.
"Yes Ma'am." Usher grinned.
"No killing, the game will be boring." Runa petted his head.
