Jiraiya and Tsunade's wedding had finally come to an end.
After the excitement faded, the remaining guests gathered together to clean up the mess left behind from the celebration. Cups, confetti, snack wrappers, and decorations were scattered everywhere, and everyone spent quite a while helping out.
Meanwhile, after the wedding, Jiraiya and Tsunade returned to Tsunade's home—now decorated beautifully thanks to Naruto and the others. The old place had been transformed into a warm, cozy space, filled with flowers, balloons, and soft lights.
Still wearing their new wedding clothes, Jiraiya and Tsunade walked into the room hand in hand. Their faces glowed with happiness, and at that moment, they only had eyes for each other.
But the moment they stepped inside, they froze.
Because a group of people were already waiting for them inside the room.
Naruto was the first to jump out, grinning mischievously. They had planned to give Jiraiya and Tsunade a surprise and stir up some fun—because making trouble in the wedding room was practically a tradition for them now.
Standing nearby were Shikamaru, Choji, Ino's father Yamanaka Inoichi, Ibiki, Kakashi, Sakura, Hinata, Kiba, Konohamaru, and even Orochimaru—who looked more amused than anyone expected.
The older generation—Shikaku, Choza, and Inoichi—kept their distance out of respect. This was a wedding night after all, and they didn't want to overstep. But Naruto, Shikamaru, the rookies, and even Sakura were all considered juniors to Jiraiya and Tsunade, so causing a little chaos wasn't considered rude.
Jiraiya blinked in surprise, and Tsunade's eyebrow twitched—but both of them quickly smiled. They understood everyone's intentions. These people genuinely cared about them and wanted their night to be memorable.
And so, the wedding-room chaos began.
Shikamaru suggested that they start with a dance. Tsunade's friend Shizune brought out snacks, drinks, and some light entertainment. Soon, the atmosphere became even livelier.
The dancing came first.
Jiraiya and Tsunade were definitely not dancers. Their movements were stiff, off-beat, and sometimes downright ridiculous—causing the entire room to erupt in laughter.
Konohamaru didn't waste a second and recorded everything with the camera.
"Just imagine it," he whispered excitedly, "dancing footage of two of the Legendary Sannin! This is gold!"
After dancing, they moved on to the games.
Naruto had learned a game from somewhere outside, and he was eager to try it.
The game involved a strawberry tied to a thin string and hung in the air. Jiraiya and Tsunade had to stand on each side of the strawberry and try to bite it simultaneously. Whoever bit half of it would "win."
Originally, the plan was to have someone hold the string. But the moment the idea came up, everyone backed away. No one dared hold that position—no one except one person.
Shikamaru sighed. "Troublesome… just let Naruto do it."
Everyone agreed. Naturally, Naruto was the only one who could supervise this chaos without fear of Tsunade smashing him through a wall.
Naruto stepped forward proudly, hung the strawberry on the thin string, positioned it between their mouths, and said with a grin:
"Alright! Come on, come on, bite it!"
Jiraiya and Tsunade leaned forward to bite—
But Naruto suddenly jerked the string upward.
Their lips landed squarely on each other.
Tsunade's face burned bright red instantly. She was a former Hokage, and almost everyone in the room was her junior! How was she supposed to keep her dignity like this?
She glared at Naruto in disbelief. When did this brat become such a troublemaker?!
Jiraiya, meanwhile, laughed shamelessly—as if this were the most natural thing in the world.
The whole room burst into laughter, Naruto included.
Tsunade felt embarrassed, a little shy, but also helpless. The game was humiliating, but she understood Naruto wasn't doing it to make fun of her. He was trying to create a moment she and Jiraiya would remember.
Naruto beamed and shouted, "Come on! Again!"
Jiraiya and Tsunade leaned forward again.
And again, Naruto yanked the string.
Their lips met for a second time.
Nearby, Sakura and Shizune exchanged a knowing smile. Orochimaru chuckled softly, shaking his head.
"So the brat picked up mischief from somewhere," he murmured.
Jiraiya turned to Naruto and barked, "Hey! Don't mess with us like that!"
Tsunade crossed her arms. "Naruto, I was the Hokage. You can't just play around with me and your teacher!"
Naruto wiped the grin off his face—at least pretended to—and said, "Alright, alright! I won't tease you. This time, I won't move the string. Promise!"
Jiraiya narrowed his eyes. "You better keep your word."
Naruto nodded innocently.
They leaned in again.
And Naruto instantly pulled the string up harder than before.
This time, the two practically crashed into each other's lips.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
Naruto collapsed laughing. Jiraiya smacked him lightly on the shoulder, half laughing, half annoyed.
Sakura had enough. She marched over, shoved Naruto aside, and scolded, "Move! Honestly, Naruto, you've picked up nothing but bad habits!"
Laughing uncontrollably, Naruto retreated to Hinata's side.
Hinata looked at him, blushing but trying to be stern. "Naruto… you really are unbelievable…"
Naruto grinned proudly. "It's fun!"
Kiba snorted. "Only you can get away with this. Anyone else would already be dead."
It was true. Jiraiya treated Naruto like a son, and Tsunade saw him as the shadow of her younger brother, Nawaki. Naruto was the one person Tsunade allowed to call her "Granny." Anyone else would be in the hospital.
Sasuke stood close by. Naruto nudged him and joked, "Hey, Sasuke, when you get married, I'm doing the same thing at your wedding!"
Sasuke gave him a deadly glare. "No. I don't like these games."
Naruto smirked. "Too bad! I won't ask permission!"
With Sakura controlling the strawberry this time, Tsunade and Jiraiya finally managed to bite it together and pass the game without interruption.
More games followed—simple ones, but designed to increase intimacy between the couple.
One game involved putting small objects inside a box and having Jiraiya reach in and guess what Tsunade had placed there. Another game required teamwork and closeness, causing plenty of laughter and blushing.
They played until late into the night.
Around 11 p.m., everyone finally dispersed.
Jiraiya and Tsunade stood at the doorway, waved goodbye to everyone, and then slowly entered their home again.
"Ah… I'm exhausted," Jiraiya groaned, collapsing onto the bed dramatically.
Tsunade frowned at him. "Get up and take a bath. You're not lying on the bed like that."
"I'm too tired," Jiraiya complained. "Can't I skip it tonight?"
"If you don't want to wash," Tsunade said sternly, "then go sleep outside."
Jiraiya lifted his head in disbelief. "Tsunade… we're newlyweds today!"
"That's not an excuse to be unhygienic."
Jiraiya was left speechless.
In the end, he dragged himself to the bathroom.
After he finished washing…
A peaceful night finally began.
And just like that, their long, exhausting, chaotic, and unforgettable wedding day came to an end.
