(The next day, Planet Ixtal, Amanda's POV)
The next day, acting on Alia's rather mischievous advice, Amanda attempted to quietly whisk the children away on a short trip back to the Time Stilled World, hoping to execute her plan without drawing unnecessary attention; however, much to her misfortune, she ran into an unexpected obstacle standing squarely in her path — a certain large, green beast known as Dumpy.
"Lady Mother, why are you headed for the hangar bay area with the children?
And where is Su Pei?
Need I remind you that the Skyshard Family is to never roam without adequate protection?"
Dumpy asked, as Amanda felt her heart sink in her chest when she saw the Big Green Beast appear before her out of nowhere.
"ITS DUMPY!"
"MOM LOOK, IT'S THE SQUISHY GREEN FROG!"
Caleb and Mairon said excitedly as they pointed towards Dumpy in joy, which caused the otherwise stoic frog to crack a rare smile.
