Kaelith snapped, his expression turning into one of pure disbelief as his eyes locked onto Mauriss, disbelief hardening into something sharp and dangerous as the origin dagger in his hand tightened just enough to show that this interruption would not be forgotten.
However, contrary to his expectations, Mauriss did not look apologetic in the slightest, and if anything, the Deceiver laughed even harder at those words, his shoulders shaking as he slowly shook his head in something resembling pity rather than regret.
"Hahahaha…."
Mauriss chuckled openly as he shook his head, lifting a finger to point lazily toward Soron first, then Helmuth, and finally Kaelith himself, as though the three of them were actors on a stage performing a joke that only he could understand.
