Chapter 75: The Patrol Team Collaborates with Demigra

But he still couldn't muster much interest. What he really wanted was to face Mechikabura in his prime!

That damned Chronoa, why didn't she seal him along with them in the Time Labyrinth?
He could've just finished the fight and asked her to send him back to his own timeline. Wouldn't that have been great?
"Chron—" The Chronoa Bird suddenly fluttered its wings, seemingly sensing something, and attempted to fly off somewhere.
Son Goku, who leaped into the air first, didn't get a chance to face off with Demigra. Instead, his secretary, Robelu, blocked his path.
"What is this thing?" Son Goku was utterly shocked as his punch was blocked by something small that resembled a conductor's baton.
Seizing the moment, Vegeta attempted to take the initiative and target Demigra, but Chamel intervened with his staff, releasing the power of a Demon God.
"Tch..." Vegeta changed course mid-air and squared off with Chamel. "Are you going to be my opponent?"
Under the large tree, Son Gohan quickly gathered his books, relieved.
At least the books were fine! What a relief!
"Hey, hey…! Something big has happened!!" The elderly Supreme Kai of Time came running over, trembling and holding a Scroll of Time in his hands.
The Chronoa Bird, which had flown off earlier, was now perched on his shoulder, chirping and swaying.
"Chron... Chron..."
"Supreme Kai of Time?" Lin Qi smirked, looking at him. "What major trouble has occurred?"
Could it be that the Dark Demon Realm had appeared? What a long wait it had been!
"What's going on?" Son Gohan, who initially wanted to join the battle, asked as he noticed the Supreme Kai of Time drenched in sweat.
"Something's happened!" The Supreme Kai of Time was visibly distressed. "The Dark Demon Realm has escaped from the Time Labyrinth once again…"
Son Goku's punches paused mid-swing, and Chamel's eyes widened.
Demigra stared in shock at the elderly Supreme Kai of Time on the ground. "What did you just say?"
He hadn't even gotten close enough to touch a feather of the Chronoa Bird, yet Mechikabura had already broken free?
Lin Qi's smirk only grew wider. Did this happen so soon? In just half a month!
He had thought it would take a lot longer. Mechikabura's strength was indeed impressive…
"Eh? These people... why are they here?" The elderly Supreme Kai of Time squinted at Demigra, momentarily forgetting the urgency of the situation.
"What did you just say?" Demigra, too, forgot the chaos and flew down to confront the Supreme Kai of Time. He reached out as though to strangle him.
"Hmph!" Lin Qi narrowed his eyes, a cold gleam flashing in them as he blocked Demigra. "It's not your turn to act out here!"
Demigra scrutinized Lin Qi with narrowed eyes but ultimately suppressed his displeasure. He turned to the elderly Supreme Kai of Time and threatened, "Speak! What's going on?"
It wasn't that he didn't want to deal with Lin Qi, but Lin Qi's calm and indifferent demeanor made it impossible to gauge his true strength.
"Uh..." The elderly Supreme Kai of Time was a bit taken aback but knew when to tread carefully.
"The Dark Demon Realm has resurfaced. I suspect it's Mechikabura's doing…"
"Have they all escaped from the Time Labyrinth?" The others hovering mid-air descended to the ground.
"This is... serious!" Son Gohan said, stroking his chin in contemplation.
Trunks, however, looked panicked. "What do we do now? Supreme Kai, do you know if she's okay?"
"I'm not sure... but I think the Supreme Kai of Time should be fine!"
As he spoke, the elderly Supreme Kai of Time tossed the Scroll of Time in his hand to Trunks, who had landed on the ground. "Looks like you'll have to take on this burden!"
When Trunks opened the scroll, Lin Qi peeked at it. "This is Earth..."
It seemed Mechikabura had regained his prime power, creating a breach in the Time Labyrinth?!
Or had Chronoa been controlled and forced to undo the seal on the Time Labyrinth herself?
Both possibilities were plausible…
So next, were they going to head to a GT parallel timeline?
Or directly invade the Dark Demon Realm?
Lin Qi rolled his eyes at the thought. It felt like he'd left the GT timeline, yet somehow, he still hadn't fully exited it.
"What should we do now?" Son Gohan turned to the group, momentarily unsure.
Lin Qi, observing the silent crowd, spoke indifferently, "Let's first head to the location indicated in the scroll. Who among you can confidently face Mechikabura in his prime?"
Even Lin Qi wasn't sure he could ensure everyone's safety while facing Mechikabura's magic.
So invading the Dark Demon Realm didn't seem like a good idea!
Demigra, however, opposed this. "Let's attack together… Can't we join forces?"
Having already defected, he knew that once Mechikabura dealt with the Time Patrol, he'd be next on the chopping block.
For now, they could only temporarily ally with the Time Patrol. Neither side could afford to falter, lest they be annihilated.
"This…" Trunks hesitated, visibly swayed by Demigra's words as he tightened his grip on the scroll.
Lin Qi glanced at Trunks indifferently. "Given our current strength, rushing in would only be serving ourselves up on a silver platter!"
After all, a prime Mechikabura wouldn't just sit by and let his Demon God subordinates remain so weak!
And in the original timeline, wasn't there a similar scenario? Even with both sides joining forces to invade the Dark Demon Realm…

The rest of the group stood behind Trunks, and the elderly Supreme Kai of Time looked on with pride at the unity of the Time Patrol.
"What about these three?" Son Goku pointed at Demigra and his two companions standing nearby.
"We'll go with you!" Demigra's face was grim as he stared at Trunks and the others.
After all, just the three of them wouldn't stand a chance against Mechikabura's forces!
