"I do," Theo replied plainly. "You killed the one I loved, and not only that, you also killed me."
"Doesn't sound like you hate me for it, though." Rael whistled. "Is it the Eternal Marionette skill's doing?"
"The skill only makes me think favorably of you... The reason why I don't bear you any hate is something entirely... Given how much freedom you've given me, I wish to not share it," Theo stated.
Rael tried reading his mind, but upon failing, he decided to commend him.
"At least you learned from your mistakes. Anyhow... I trust you're not going to stab me in the back."
The corners of Theo's lips rose slightly. "I won't make any promises."
"Of course not..." Rael sighed. "Doesn't matter, though. Knowing I can kill you with a single snap of my finger is enough reassurance. However, I do have a task for you now."
It was the same task that he had left behind in an envelope inside Melina's room, alongside a very expensive potion.
