Noticing his furrowed brows, Lilith burst out laughing.
"Hahaha... I'm just kidding. We're not really married, but what you did at the end there was basically an engagement."
"What? Touching horns? Isn't that what we were supposed to do in the first place?" Rael asked.
Lilith held back a laugh. "We were supposed to stand beside each other and wave at the crowd. Our horns would've formed a crown, but... pfft... you proposed instead."

He remembered the way her cheeks flushed when he did it, so it was a bit hard to ignore.
After all, she had this distinct way of showing vulnerability, and even someone who didn't know her could see it.

"It's fine." Lilith patted his shoulder with a distant smile. "I know you didn't mean it. So don't worry about it."
Rael's brows twitched slightly as she finally let go of his shoulder and summoned two chairs from her inventory.
"Sit. Also, check your status. The Demonic Lands should've been added."
