Chapter 209 - CHAPTER 209

Uchiha Kiyo controlled dozens of Qi Yuan Slashes, each one cutting around Obito in the virtual state. The kaleidoscope Sharingan in his eyes gleamed brightly, almost mocking the situation. His eyes flickered with amusement, betraying his confidence in the ongoing battle.

Obito was frantic, his mind racing. "Damn it, his eyes are so bright... He must have just awakened them," he thought, trying to piece together the situation. "But the Uchiha clan was destroyed, right? Isn't there only one Uchiha clan left? That Itachi's younger brother... Uchiha Sasuke, I've met him before. It's definitely not this person."

His frustration grew. "Damn it, Itachi never does anything unless it's part of some plan."

In his panic, Obito placed the blame squarely on Itachi, conveniently ignoring any role he himself might have played in his current predicament.

The ability of Shinra Tensei, or "divine power," could be called a cheat. Both the ability to distort space and teleportation were formidable. However, they could only be used separately. At this moment, Obito was under constant attack from Uchiha Kiyo, his body unable to move. He couldn't activate his teleportation ability at all.

"Can you just wait for a moment?" Uchiha Kiyo asked, his voice calm and almost mocking.

Finally, five minutes passed.

Uchiha Kiyo controlled five Qi Yuan Slashes and unleashed them on Obito, tearing him apart in a swift and powerful attack.

With a confident step forward, Uchiha Kiyo reached for Obito's right eye, his fingers poised to remove it.

"I've been waiting for you," Uchiha Kiyo murmured, a knowing smirk playing across his face.

Kunai crossed in the air. Uchiha Kiyo's body melted into the earth, turning into mud.

"Space-time ninjutsu?" Obito finally grasped the situation. It dawned on him that Uchiha Kiyo had mastered space-time ninjutsu and could teleport. But something was off. Izanagi? Could it be that Uchiha Kiyo possessed this technique as well? Obito frowned. The abilities lined up too perfectly. The kaleidoscope Sharingan was in play, and it was the only explanation for Kiyo's ability to predict everything.

"This is trouble," Obito muttered under his breath.

Obito was familiar with Shinra Tensei—he had used it countless times against powerful foes. He knew how difficult space-time ninjutsu was to master. If not for the sacrifice of the Fourth Hokage, he might have never even made it out of his fight with him.

"Is it a technique of the eyes, too? No… No, there's no sign of using the pupil technique. His ability to predict seems more like foresight. Space ninjutsu doesn't need to be invisible, after all."

Uchiha Kiyo appeared ten meters away, the space around him rippling.

"This isn't just space-time ninjutsu," Uchiha Kiyo said, his voice flat and measured. "This is space ninjutsu."

Obito's confusion deepened, his focus now entirely on Uchiha Kiyo's words.

Kiyo's skill in the Body Substitution Jutsu was at its peak. His proficiency was such that he could perform the technique almost instinctively, without forming any hand seals. He could manipulate chakra across a large area, instantly converting surrounding earth into a substitute body—creating perfect distractions with soil clones.

"This isn't space-time ninjutsu," Uchiha Kiyo continued, his tone sharp. "It's just space ninjutsu. Get it right, Obito."

Obito, however, didn't have the patience for wordplay. He needed to act. Whatever Uchiha Kiyo was saying, it didn't change the fact that he was losing ground fast.

Suddenly, Uchiha Kiyo formed a fire lotus in his palm, spinning rapidly with three distinct flames—burning, high-temperature, and corrosive properties. The fire lotus shimmered with alternating red and dark hues, creating an otherworldly glow.

Obito's expression grew serious, and he could feel the intense energy emanating from the lotus. "I'll have to teleport as soon as it explodes," he thought, preparing for the worst.

"Art... Art!" a voice echoed from a distance.

Out of nowhere, a figure appeared—a ninja clad in a red cloud-patterned cloak with a black lining. Long blonde hair cascaded over his face, hiding his left eye, while a distinctive braid crowned his head. His forehead protector bore the symbol of Iwagakure. It was Deidara.

Deidara had initially been searching for Obito, but when he saw the energy fluctuation from the fire lotus, his curiosity got the better of him. Without thinking, he stepped forward.

"Art, art!" Deidara muttered, staring intently at the swirling fire lotus in Uchiha Kiyo's hands. The gleam in his eyes betrayed his fascination.

Uchiha Kiyo had sensed Deidara's presence long before the explosion. His chakra had covered the area from the start of the battle, and his mental perception allowed him to track Deidara's every move. No matter how well Deidara tried to hide, he couldn't escape Uchiha Kiyo's detection.

The fire lotus sped up as Uchiha Kiyo focused his chakra, the red and dark red light flashing rapidly. It was as if the light itself were taunting Deidara, who couldn't help but stare in awe.

At first, Uchiha Kiyo had intended to ignore Deidara and finish off Obito, but with the appearance of the artist, he realized it was better to handle both at once. With Deidara involved, it wasn't guaranteed that Obito would fall quickly, especially since Obito could teleport.

Uchiha Kiyo tossed the Buddha's Furious Fire Lotus towards Deidara.

The explosion was deafening.

"Boom!"

The force of the blast sent shockwaves through the air, and Uchiha Kiyo could almost see the smile on Deidara's face as the blast went off. Deidara's lips were moving, and from the shape of his mouth, Uchiha Kiyo could clearly make out the words: "Art is an explosion!"

Uchiha Kiyo's lips twitched. This guy really did have something wrong with his brain.

The earth trembled beneath them, and a vast cloud of dust billowed into the air, enveloping the battlefield. Even Uchiha Kiyo, standing a hundred meters away, was momentarily obscured by the dust storm.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Kiyo activated his Lava Release technique, entering the Gundam mode. The 20-meter tall lava giant that emerged was a formidable sight. Before the smoke and dust could clear, Uchiha Kiyo charged at Obito.

Obito, sensing the incoming danger, immediately activated Shinra Tensei and teleported away just in time to avoid the giant's attack.

The dust began to clear, revealing Deidara, hovering on his clay bird above the battlefield. His face was serious as he looked down at Uchiha Kiyo, now standing before the massive lava construct.

"That's... not Susanoo, is it?" Obito mused, his tone uncertain. He had seen Susanoo before, but the giant before him was too small, too different.

Uchiha Kiyo smirked. "Not Susanoo... something far more deadly."

The giant in front of him wasn't powered by the Mangekyō Sharingan's chakra, but by pure chakra itself—a true display of Uchiha Kiyo's immense reserves.

Deidara didn't seem to have a problem with the giant's size; his clay bird hovered just out of reach of the giant's fists and lava-based attacks. But for Obito, the 20-meter giant was a force to be reckoned with.

Obito, realizing that he couldn't escape easily, began to consider his options. But Uchiha Kiyo's overwhelming arsenal of abilities and his ever-looming presence left him with little hope.

The time to fight back had passed.

"Walk!" Obito shouted, activating his Shinra Tensei once more, using the technique to teleport both himself and Deidara away.

Uchiha Kiyo paused, watching them disappear with a smile that hinted at a future confrontation. He wasn't concerned with pursuing them now.

"It'll be easier to find them next time," he muttered to himself, already anticipating their next encounter.
