It had been three days since Edith showed up at her door, and she was getting the hang of her new duties better than she had expected.
The butler was a much better help than Edith, but even without his input, she would have been able to figure it out.
Edith and Henry were required to report to her every morning after breakfast. They also took orders from her and couldn't do anything new without first asking her.
She was pretty much acclimated to giving orders and making sure they were followed to the letter. However, there were a lot of changes she wanted to make, but Rose knew it wasn't the right time yet.
"You have been busy lately," Caius said as he sat on her bed while the maids helped her get ready for bed.
"You noticed," she said with a small smile as she looked at him from the dresser's mirror. She didn't have to ask to know what he was talking about.
"Do you really believe there is anything that happens in the castle without my knowledge?"
