Kathy answered instead, "Yes, I was there. We were investigating Hawthorne's disappearance, and they came to silence us. I didn't know Dr Huxley, a renowned surgeon with godly precision, could employ his talent during a chase. He went 80 on a 45 and still made all the turns without wrecking my car."
Hazel didn't stray her gaze from Rhodes's face. She then dropped her arms and laughed. "Sergei hates that part of him. Rhodes has always been a racer in the streets. You know what's worse? He only does that when he's driving other people's cars. Lionel even had his license revoked once because of all the speeding tickets in his name."
She covered her face with her hands. "It's always been a running joke in the team. The medical director said that… if Rhodes lost his silence, the hospital could still hire him to drive ambulances. The patients will always make it on time.
