Chen Wei gritted his teeth and flashed forward first, his body a blur as he activated his speed ability. He slashed at the zombie's side, but it twisted impossibly fast, dodging with a wet crack of its bones and swinging a huge fist at him.
Chen Wei barely managed to block it, but the force sent him skidding backward, his boots digging trenches into the broken ground.
"Attack together!" Liora shouted, finally pulling herself together. Fear still gripped her heart, but she forced it down and surged forward with her sword glowing faintly with mana.
Zhou Yinuo moved to the left, trying to flank the zombie. Liang Zihan pulled out the small boulder from the ground, and was trying to aim for its eyes.
Zhao Ren's group hesitated only for a second before joining too.
But still, the zombie twisted its body again, and this time spikes grew out of its back, shooting outward like a rain of deadly projectiles.
