"Thank you very much," — Iona said, bowing her head in front of Idan in gratitude. She had finally met the man she had dreamed of meeting for so long, but she had not been able to do so until this moment.
"Thank you for saving my life back in the north," Iona finally said what she had wanted to say for so long, and felt a little relieved.
Idan silently accepted her thanks with a smile. He was glad that he had saved her back then, even though he had done it to complete the System's task. However, he was confident that he would have helped her and the other Awakened Ones back then without the System's assignment.
"Raise your head, Iona, don't lower your head," — Idan asked.
After a moment's hesitation, Iona raised her head, but she couldn't look at Idan, feeling awkward.
In his true form, he was too handsome for her. And Arabel, his wife, was standing next to him, which made Iona even more confused.
"It's a good thing there's no one here," she thought, looking around.
