"After receiving the message from Guanyin Bodhisattva, I immediately went to seek out the Southern Polar Emperor of Longevity and, that bald old fellow had no intention of concealing the truth. According to him, it was by the Dharma Decree of the Primordial Venerable that the Eastern Extreme Qinghua Emperor and the Southern Polar Emperor of Longevity lowered their heads to admit their mistakes and compensated with one hundred thousand Xuanhuang Coins, and thus Jiang Ziya was rescued."
Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy exclaimed in shock: "How is that possible? Clearly it was Bai Jin who captured Jiang Ziya, so why would the Eastern Extreme Qinghua Emperor and the Southern Polar Emperor of Longevity be the ones to admit wrongdoing?"
The other Buddha Bodhisattvas were also rendered speechless. Was the Primordial Venerable so favorably biased towards Bai Jin? Or could it be that his other disciples were all picked up, and only Bai Jin was his true kin?
