'Fifteen hours, at least,' Gin estimated grimly. He doubted the current team could endure for that long without collapsing. If it were up to him, he would have split the group into shifts or increased their numbers for a rotating strategy.

As he moved among the mages and ability-users, assessing their condition,Kyrie Lynchfield quietly approached.

"You're deep in thought," she remarked, her tone playful. "Something worrying you?"

Gin glanced at her, surprised she had noticed. He quickly checked his expression using a mana-infused reflection spell—his face was perfectly neutral. Yet, somehow, Kyrie had seen through him.

Perhaps it was a joke. Or perhaps she had sharper insight than he had assumed.

"I'm not joking. Tell me what's on your mind," Kyrie Lynchfield said, her voice earnest. "We're comrades in this fight. You can share your worries with me."

Gin regarded her with quiet curiosity before giving a nod. "I'm concerned about whether we can actually bring this monster down."
