Chapter 108 - Chapter 106: Arendelle, Marriage and Witch.

Inside the royal castle.

Space distorted as several people appeared in place.

Lioro, Elsa, Tsuare, Ninya, Yoriichi, Cid, Bell, Levi, Farlen, and Isobel.

As soon as they appeared, a loud cheer greeted their ears.

"Welcome! To Arendelle!"

Music started playing as if on cue.

Members of the Hestia Familia looked at the scene in surprise—the large palace, the maids, singers, and butlers all standing around them to greet them.

Bell was instantly embarrassed by the grand welcome and quickly shrank behind Yoriichi.

"Sister Elsa is really royalty…," Isobel muttered in a confused and slightly jealous voice.

Even Levi and Farlen were a little taken aback by the grand scene.

As for Cid…

'Holy shit! Is this Frozen???'

He was stunned, speechless after hearing the familiar name Arendelle.

'Elsa? Anna? No wait! That woman beside Lioro is called Elsa! Why didn't I notice it before?? Damn, Lioro, you went after a fairy-tale character???'

At the same time, he was checking the mana density in the air.

It felt quite similar to his own world.

While everyone was busy with their own thoughts, a figure quickly ran into Elsa's arms.

"Elsa! You're back!"

"Anna!"

Elsa called out her name and lovingly hugged her sister.

"How have you been? It's been so long since you left…"

"Elsa…"

"Is the wizard treating you well?" Anna suddenly asked while staring at Lioro.

Lioro: ?

"Everyone has been nice to me… except a certain someone who disappears most of the time," Elsa said, then stared at Lioro.

Lioro: ??

Anna sent him a dangerous glare.

Lioro: ???

After the little mischief, Elsa started introducing the members of the Hestia Familia.

Anna greeted them with enthusiasm.

They were her sister's friends!

Elsa had told her a lot about them through their communication rings!

"Are you Lioro's sisters?"

Tsuare and Ninya nodded.

"Yes…"

"From now on, you're also my sisters!" Anna said in an excited tone before giving them a deep hug.

"Hello! You must be Mr. Yoriichi! Wow, you're really tall!" Anna said with stars in her eyes while looking up.

"Hello," Yoriichi gave her a respectful nod, then handed her a small box he had been carrying.

"Oh! Thank you!" Anna gratefully accepted the gift, then started greeting everyone else.

"Wow! Are you Lioro's brother?!"

"N-no! I am Bell! I'm not related to the captain…"

"Hehehe, I know. I was just joking!"

Anna looked at Levi with curiosity before asking,

"I heard you're a clean freak. Is that true? Don't worry, I made sure your room was cleaned properly!"

"…Thank you, Princess."

While Anna was greeting everyone, Cid suddenly ninja-vanished from his spot, appeared beside Lioro, and whispered carefully into his ear.

"Hey, is this Frozen?"

Lioro stopped and gave Cid a confused look before replying.

"Yes. How did you know?"

"The hell you mean? Everyone knows Frozen!"

'Well, you didn't know about Demon Slayer, Overlord, or AoT, so I thought…'

Before Lioro could give a reply, a man suddenly came running.

"Lioro! Elsa!"

Kristoff shouted in a loud voice before coming up to Lioro and giving him a hug.

"How have you been, friend?"

"I've been great, Kristoff. What about you?"

"Haha! After wearing your ring, I've never been unhealthy!"

Kristoff said while lovingly caressing the ring Lioro had given him.

"…I'm glad you like it."

"Yes! It's amazing! Oh, by the way…"

Kristoff wrapped his arm around Lioro's shoulder and whispered,

"How's your relationship with Elsa progressing? Why don't you take this chance to court her as well?"

"That's a little too fast…"

"Hm, is it? Sigh… well, do your best! I really want to come to your marriage too, you know…"

"Okay, okay…"

Lioro replied helplessly while Kristoff laughed.

"You better not vanish right after the ceremony," Kristoff said, patting Lioro's shoulder. "Anna will be very disappointed."

Lioro shrugged his shoulders.

Anna suddenly appeared and said,

"You're staying until the celebration ends. No portals. No excuses!"

"Yes, I understand…"

Cid suddenly raised a hand.

"What about dramatic exits?"

Anna stopped and stared at him.

Excuse me, but who are you again?? She didn't recall her sister mentioning anything about him.

Cid slowly lowered his hand.

Elsa stepped forward, her presence naturally quieting the hall.

"The ceremony will be held tomorrow morning," she said. "Until then, consider the castle yours. Please rest well."

The members of the Hestia Familia smiled.

Anna suddenly clapped her hands together.

"Come, let me show you the ballroom!" Anna grabbed Kristoff's hand and started pulling him forward. "The decorations are beautiful!"

She led them through the castle corridors until they reached the grand ballroom.

White banners adorned the walls, snowflake-shaped crystals hovered near the ceiling, and soft light reflected off the polished marble floors.

Bell muttered in a small voice,

"…This is impressive."

Ninya clasped her hands together.

"It feels like a dream…"

Tsuare nodded quietly.

Kristoff laughed.

"Guess we picked the right place."

Cid leaned close to Lioro and whispered,

"So… no assassins, no coups, no magical disasters planned for the wedding?"

Lioro replied flatly,

"If there are, I wasn't informed."

Cid blinked, then sighed in disappointment.

As the group dispersed, servants guided everyone to their rooms.

Laughter echoed through the halls, mixed with quiet conversations and footsteps fading into the night.

Later, Lioro stood by a balcony overlooking the snow-covered kingdom.

Footsteps approached.

Lioro turned around and saw Kristoff, Anna, and Elsa.

"Want some alcohol?" Kristoff asked while raising a big bottle.

Lioro looked at him, then at the smiling Anna and Elsa before replying,

"Sure."

The four of them held their own personal get-together.

And like that, the day slowly ended.

----

The next day arrived beneath a clear, pale blue sky.

Snow fell gently over Arendelle, not cold or biting, but soft—like a blessing.

The royal plaza had been transformed.

White banners embroidered with snowflake patterns lined the streets, crystal lanterns floated in the air, and flowers that somehow bloomed even in winter decorated every archway. Citizens filled the square, their laughter and chatter blending with soft music carried by enchanted instruments.

It was a day of celebration.

Inside the castle, preparations were already complete.

Anna stood before a tall mirror, dressed in a white-and-ice-blue gown trimmed with delicate frost patterns. It suited her perfectly.

"You're smiling too much," Elsa remarked from behind her.

Anna grinned wider.

"I can't help it."

Elsa adjusted the veil gently, her movements careful and full of love.

"You love him so much…" she said softly.

Anna turned, eyes narrowing.

"Like you're one to talk!"

Elsa paused for a moment, then smiled.

"You're right. I'm no better."

"Hehe, I really want to see you in this dress too."

Outside, Kristoff stood near the altar, wearing formal attire that still somehow managed to feel like him. He shifted nervously, tugging at his gloves.

"Feeling nervous?" Lioro asked.

"Yeah…" Kristoff replied honestly.

"Want me to cast a mind-stabilizing spell?"

Lioro raised his glowing hand.

Kristoff hurriedly took a step back and replied,

"No, no, no! This is my big day, dude! Let me experience it!"

"Alright, just don't trip."

"I won't!"

Lioro lightly patted Kristoff's shoulders.

Below the altar stood a large crowd the people of the kingdom, nobles from afar. The whole place was filled with liveliness.

At the front were members of the Hestia Familia, looking at everything with curious and excited eyes.

Not long after—

The ceremony began.

Music echoed across the plaza as Anna walked forward, her steps light, her smile unwavering. Kristoff's nervousness vanished the moment he saw her.

Elsa stood proudly beside her.

She walked up to the altar with Anna.

The bride and groom were in place.

The ceremony began.

Words were spoken.

Promises were made.

Laughter followed tears, and tears followed laughter.

Finally, they clasped their hands and looked at each other with loving smiles.

"Anna, will you make me the happiest man alive?"

"Yes!" Anna replied without a moment of delay.

"I now pronounce you—"

But just as the priest was about to finish—

Crackle

A heavy, depressing mana enveloped the place.

Crackle

The candles extinguished, and the warmth faded.

A bizarre, unnatural chill spread across the plaza.

Everyone was taken aback.

"What is—?"

Suddenly—

"Aehehehehe…"

A crackling, disturbing laughter enveloped the place.

The crowd hurriedly parted, revealing a hunched figure draped in dark robes, her face hidden beneath a shadowed hood.

Silence fell.

Everyone stared at her in shock.

"A witch!" someone in the crowd shouted loudly.

"Such a beautiful ceremony," the witch said, her voice smooth and venomous. "It would be a shame to let it end happily."

The witch's lips curled into a cruel smile.

A surge of cursed magic exploded outward.

Opening her mouth, she chanted in a menacing tone,

"By moon and fate, by bond and vow—

Let love be sealed, yet cursed now.

Until true dawn breaks this decree—"

She raised her wrinkled finger and pointed it at Kristoff and Anna.

"—Sleep shall claim them eternally."

A green light filled with curse shot out from her finger, rushing straight toward the bride and groom.

Seeing their shocked expressions, a sadistic smile appeared on the old witch's face.

Ruining their best day, filling their lives with endless despair!

The mere thought filled her with immense joy!

Just as the witch was feeling excited—

A fair hand reached out and grabbed the curse before easily crushing it to bits.

Seeing the scene—

The witch's face froze.

At the same time—

An intense fighting spirit rushed from her right.

The witch slowly turned her eyes.

There she saw a tall man with long, flowing hair who had, at some point, come right beside her.

"Why do you destroy others' happiness?" Yoriichi asked in a calm voice, tightly holding his sword.

A swordsman?

The Witch's pupils shrank, she was just about to jump away when-

Something cold touched her neck, making her stop in place.

Looking down with trembling eyes, she saw a pitch-black sword.

'How?...'

Too fast.

She didn't even know hoe it arrived so close.

As if to answer her query.

A low and indifferent voice came from her left.

"Your curses are powerless here, Witch."

The Witch moved her eyes and saw a man in pitch black—his presence unseen, his form unclear. He was like darkness itself taking physical form.

The witch felt her throat run dry.

But it wasn't over.

A terrifying fluctuation of mana, something mortal flesh could never hope to contain, rushed straight at her like an endless tsunami.

From her front, Lioro walked out at a calm pace.

With each step he took—

The pressure on the witch increased.

Until he stopped right before her.

A pair of breathtakingly beautiful blue eyes stared down indifferently at her.

Like looking at a dead dog.

It was only now—

The witch understood.

Just how fucked she truly was.
