Chapter 353 - Dimensional Travel?

— — — — — —

Aizen chimed in too, "Take it easy, alright? No need to go fight Saints, you have a family after all."

"Don't forget what happened in BTTH canon."

"Until your strength's high enough, playing it safe is the smart move."

"Yeah, yeah! Got it!" Xiao Yan nodded eagerly. "You're absolutely right, Aizen-senpai!"

In a world like this, where you're just starting your cultivation journey, being cautious is key.

"I'd suggest you ally with Medusa," Uchiha Renzo said. "She's got a lot on her plate, so getting her on your side early will pay off. Plus, let's be honest—you're obviously planning to add her to your harem."

"Yes, Uchiha-senpai. That was the plan," Xiao Yan replied with a cheeky grin.

In the Battle Through the Heavens universe, Medusa was easily one of the top-tier beauties. There was no way he was letting that opportunity slip.

"And don't forget—you'll need subordinates to handle all the work later. That way, you can just relax and enjoy time with your women," Hentai Renzo added shamelessly.

"You're reading my mind," Xiao Yan nodded. Clearly, he'd already been thinking along the same lines.

"Alright, enough. We've got more newbies to deal with," Hermione said, giving them a sharp look before turning to face the newcomers.

"Get started, you two," Mikasa said flatly.

"Ahem, so senpais... With the kind of power I have now," said Toaru Renzo, clearly hyped, "do you guys think I could take on Aleister or Aiwass?"

Toaru Renzo from Toaru Majutsu no Index, aka A Certain Magical Index.

"You should be able to," Aizen replied calmly.

Aleister was one of those characters who could be either overpowered or underwhelming depending on the narrative. Sure, in their original world he was hyped like crazy, but from where they were standing now? He wasn't that impressive.

"Wait—you're not planning to just throw down with Aleister immediately, are you?" Hermione looked at him like he'd grown a second head. "Seriously, you'd be better off working with him. That way you can get access to the tech behind esper development and all that other juicy stuff."

"Teamwork leads to profit. Jumping straight to confrontation? That's just dumb."

Dude, this newcomer was a little reckless.

Did their past selves always have this kind of impulsive streak?

"Ahaha… yeah, you're right." Toaru Renzo laughed awkwardly. "Guess I got a little carried away. I'll focus on showing what I can do first, and then try to negotiate with Aleister."

Clearly, he wasn't an idiot—just got a bit ahead of himself.

"You've been holding back for so long, now that you've finally got some power, you're feeling a little cocky and eager to show off. Give it a few days and you'll adjust."

"Also, the Toaru world has some seriously good stuff—both in terms of esper research and magic. Make sure to get your hands on as much of it as possible and study everything."

"I took a look at your memories. Right now, Index hasn't arrived in Academy City yet, right? Try to find her. If you can get your hands on the full library of grimoires from her, you'll save yourself a ton of time."

"Heh, yeah, that was my plan all along!" Uchiha Renzo grinned.

Toaru Renzo chuckled too. "Why leave Index to Touma when I could take her under my wing? Who knows, maybe I can help her grow into a real powerhouse."

"Now that you mention it," Ultraman Renzo added, "our world doesn't really have much. Tons of battle skills, sure, but not the kind of mystical training you guys have."

"Oh! But we do have some cutting-edge technology," he added quickly.

Gundam Renzo chuckled. "Isn't that more than enough? I'm actually super interested in your world's tech—especially the stuff about dimensional travel. Try to get your hands on that and bring it back. The sooner we can study it, the sooner we might crack the code ourselves."

"Best-case scenario, we figure it out ourselves—and who knows? Maybe one day, we'll be able to visit each other's universes."

The Gundam world had plenty of variations too. If he could jump into alternate Gundam timelines, that'd be pretty damn cool.

Gundam 00, for example, had some really impressive tech. He was particularly curious about the solar reactor systems from that universe.

"Sounds doable! Actually, our tech department already has some rough blueprints on this kind of thing. Once we take down Belial, I'll look into it seriously," said Ultraman Renzo, nodding confidently.

And he wasn't just anyone—he was the younger brother of Zero Ultraman, a character who didn't exist in the canon.

Even before gaining this new power, his strength was on par with Zero's. Now that he'd absorbed the strength of everyone in the group, he was pretty sure he'd surpassed him completely.

"Dimensional travel, huh?" R-18 Renzo muttered with interest. "I wonder if my world even has parallel universes?"

"Guess we'll find out when we try it," Pirate Renzo said lazily as he stretched his arms.

He was half-joking, but still—who knew? Maybe even in fanfic universes like theirs, alternate timelines existed.

Or maybe... there were whole new dimensions they hadn't discovered yet.

"I'd say the Naruto world definitely has some dimensional stuff going on," Uchiha Renzo added seriously. "Between the Dragon Vein incident and all that space-time hopping nonsense in Boruto, it kinda seems obvious."

Though personally, he had a theory: both of those cases felt less like time travel and more like hopping between alternate realities.

"Wait... Boruto? That crap actually counts?" Hero Renzo cut in, looking like he'd just eaten something sour.

Boruto being considered part of Naruto? What a joke.

"No thanks," Pirate Renzo said, nodding in agreement. "Let's just pretend Boruto never happened."

Aizen: "Agreed."

Eevee: "+1."

"Ugh... fine. I never took it as canon anyway." Uchiha Renzo raised his hands in defeat.

That said, the Naruto world clearly had access to dimensional hopping. So if that was the case, Uchiha Renzo figured there was real potential to explore it further.

Until they found a proper way to jump to other universes, exploring parallel worlds sounded like a fun and productive alternative.
