Kael's voice rang out as he walked in.
He had barely taken a step when Ariana rushed toward him. "Where have you gone, my Lord?"
"The Duke almost went crazy and cursed all the Veydrin ancestors."
Kael replied casually."Kekeke… he won't be angry after seeing what I brought back."
"What?" Ariana asked.
"…What?" the others echoed.

Duke Serpentine and Melvin appeared.
Duke Serpentine's first reaction was to curse but he quietened down as Kael spread a large map on the table and began marking points on it.
Kael picked up a piece of chalk and drew several circles and lines.
"Listen carefully," he said, his tone shifting completely. "This is not guesswork. This is what the enemy is doing."
He tapped the eastern section of the map.
"First, their structure. The Nightstar forces here look strong, but it is just a shell. Their command is centralized, and most decisions come from only a few core leaders. If those heads fall, the rest will collapse."
