Riding the Unicorn (damn pervert took 52 virgin panties to satisfy its needs), Duncan rode the horse to edge of Walencia Falls, where the recent attack occured. Titus (the beast that he his) ran all the way, no horse or beast carrying him. Numb at this point, Duncan asked the old Orc what he thought about this situation. "Hey old man, it's not possible to render magic moot, right?"
Without breaking stride, Titus answered him. "It is actually possible you know. It's just that, well, only Demons can do it, for the Dark element can nullify any and all magic, provided they are at the same tier..."
Nearly falling off the Unicorn (who nearly cried as Duncan barely missed chopping off his nether regions), Duncan was astounded. "Baulshit! If it were true, why doesn't the Church publicise this? Also, if itnwere true, why didn't the whore of a Succubus use Dark Magic then, huh? Hah! I see that I've cornered you again~..."
Rolling his eyes at the Elf's ignorance, Titus revealed the reasons in a mocking tone. "A– The Church doesn't dare reveal it, for as far as the public knows, magic cannot defeat them, only the Light element can. So if people knew that physical attacks can kill, the Church would lose a large part of its revenue. And B, Succubi can only mostly use Charm magic, a form of Telekinesis, along with smidges of basic White magic. You expect them to use Dark Magic, hah! They do this, they'd kiss their asses goodbye, for the only reason they haven't perished yet of hunger is because they can't use Dark Magic. Use it, say goodbye to your meal tickets..."
"Oh wow, what a pitiful race..."
Just as he wanted to ask the Orc more information about Demons, his nose picked up a scent.
The scent of burnt flesh...

Large swathes of ash floated through the air, as they continued falling off from the burnt husks of what used to be houses. Floating through the air, they landed among the many piles of mangled bones, burned clean from the fire that had spread across the village. Some bones could even be seen with tooth marks around them, the marrow sucked right out. Witnessing this, Duncan vomited right there and then.
Who on Earadun does this!?
Wiping the vestiges off his mouth, he knelt by a tree, trying his best to regain his breath. Anger growing on his face, he swore, there and then, whoever did this would pay the price. "Whomever did this heinous crime, I shall personally chop his limbs off, rip his head out, and grind his bones into ashes!"
Despite the atrocities laid bare in front of him, Titus barely flinched, yet you could see the anger in his eyes burning, silently, coldly...
"Kid, let's focus on our tasks. We need to know who or what did it, and we need to do it fast, before more victims are created. You search to the East, and I'll go to the West. Every hour we'll give a signal, and after 6 hours, we'll convene back here to check what we have learned..."
Nodding his head, Duncan headed East of the village, anger fueling his thoughts. Find every single clue there is... Once I catch these motherfuckers, they'll pay with their lives!

Titus walked across the ground, each step meticulously carving its way through the blackened bones that lay strewn on the ground. He wanted to preserve their bones as much as possible, so that they could be buried with as much dignity as possible. I may not have been able to save you, but at least I can grant you a dignified end...
Just as he was about to go into the next house, the bushes behind him began rustling...
