"Speak, Professor Dumbledore, what do you want to talk to me about?"

Noah, who was sitting in the laboratory, looked at Professor Dumbledore curiously, with a dead dragon in front of him.

The space of the temple seemed small, but with space-folding magic, even small spaces could be expanded. Noah, skilled in space magic, knew how to maximize the space. With Dennis's help, he found a room and transformed it into a modern laboratory, outfitted with many electronic devices purchased from Charles for the purpose of recording.

The temple did not shield these electronic signals, and Noah seemed to prefer an environment with computers and the Internet. Under Noah's touch, the temple had become modern, so much so that it almost no longer resembled a magician's residence.

However, Noah did not forget his roots as a magician. The equipment in the temple wasn't powered by electricity but by devices improved by Ryan Horsman, the winner of the third Kamar-Taj Award. While still small and somewhat crude, these improvements were beginning to be promoted.

"Are you conducting an experiment? I heard from Evan and the others that you're working on improving Animagus," Dumbledore asked, his gaze shifting to the dragon before Noah.

"Yes, Animagus has existed for years, but it has been limited to transforming into small and medium-sized animals. This is quite irregular. No one has ventured into magical or mythical creatures in this area, which is why I'm curious. I plan to try it out," Noah replied, holding part of the dragon's body as he took notes.

"This transformation magic doesn't follow the normal rules. Honestly, when you transform into a mythical creature, your combat power increases substantially," Noah continued, examining the dragon closely.

"What you're saying makes sense, but it's not quite what you think," Dumbledore replied, his smile tinged with a hint of bitterness.

"Uh? What do you mean?" Noah turned his head, confused.

"In fact, the York Magic Association has already researched Animagus for larger animals. A magical organization from the East has even worked on transforming into mythical creatures, but the control of these transformations is incredibly difficult."

"Too difficult to control?"

"Yes, let's not even get into the difficulty of the research itself. The magic involved and how it's stored are both significant hurdles. But after overcoming those, there's an even greater challenge: when you transform into a mythical creature, your will may be replaced by its instincts."

"So, while we don't have data on this research, it doesn't mean no one has worked on it or that no progress has been made."

"Is that so?" Noah nodded, acknowledging the insight. Dumbledore's explanation was in line with the reality he had anticipated.

The advantages of becoming a mythical creature were clear. These beings had unique abilities, and transforming into one could greatly enhance the power of one's magic. It made sense that such a concept would have been explored.

As for the control issues, even regular Animagus transformations could go wrong, like when a person changes into an animal and can't revert back. Mythical creatures, whose ferocity exceeded that of normal animals, were a much greater risk.

Now, Noah understood where the information about Animagus advancements had come from. He wasn't sure about the specifics of the dragon transformation, but it was likely the work of a powerful magician.

Noah dismissed the thoughts. The system had taken his high-dimensional dark power to prevent certain risks, and with Master Ancient One's protection, he had little to worry about. Still, without these guarantees, Noah would never have considered such dangerous research.

Noah's physical abilities were at their limit, unable to improve further. The only way forward was through magic, reshaping his form into creatures with superior physical strength, endurance, and magical power. After much thought, Noah chose the dragon.

While it had started as a whim, the idea had grown into something more practical—transforming into a dragon would align well with his abilities.

But Noah had a deeper, unspoken plan. He hoped that after transforming into a dragon, he could somehow transform back into a human, allowing the dragon's power to enhance his own. This was the part Noah was most excited about.

"Thank you, Professor Dumbledore. I understand. I'll be careful. And I'm just experimenting. If I succeed, I might win another Kamar-Taj Magic Award. If I fail, at least I have a safety net," Noah said, thoughtfully.

"Good. Be cautious, and when you're ready to attempt the transformation, make sure your teacher is present," Dumbledore advised with concern.

"No problem. By the way, Professor, what brings you here?" Noah asked, curious about Dumbledore's visit.

"Ah, I almost forgot!" Dumbledore patted his head, then said, "There's a party tonight, and I'd like you to attend if possible."

"A party?" Noah raised an eyebrow. "Are those magic organizations or the Ministry of Magic involved?"

"It's the British Ministry of Magic."

Dumbledore tilted his head. "There are a lot of new faces in the Ministry, and many of them are your classmates, or even from your small organization. Aren't you planning to attend?"

"Really?" Noah put down the dragon's heart he had been inspecting, then took off his gloves and supported his head, pondering.

Noah wasn't opposed to attending. After all, magicians had to socialize just like anyone else. While many researchers were introverted, Noah was not one of those "technical types," and he was growing tired of the bloody smells from the dragon corpses. He also hadn't been in contact with many of his classmates since leaving Hogwarts and Kamar-Taj.

This was an opportunity to reconnect. The work he had done for the Wizard Alliance had been aimed at ensuring a better future for them. As they achieved success, it would be time for Noah to begin reaping the benefits. Many of his classmates had moved into important positions in the Ministry of Magic, and some who hadn't entered Kamar-Taj had found success in various fields, many of them now leaders.

It made sense to meet with them now, especially since Noah had never taken the time to organize a reunion.

"Alright, I'll go tonight," Noah decided.

"Great, I was worried you'd come up with an excuse not to go," Dumbledore smiled, relieved.

"Actually, you could just call me for these things. Why come in person?" Noah chuckled.

"You have no idea how boring it is in the office. God, it's just filled with endless paperwork. I really think I should retire soon," Dumbledore said, sounding exasperated.

"Don't rush to retire. You've got enough life ahead of you. Why not stay a little longer, stabilize the situation, and let the younger generation take over before you leave?" Noah suggested.

"You have too many ideas," Dumbledore remarked with a grin. He knew that Noah had always been a bit more ambitious than others, even back at Hogwarts.

The young magicians from the Mage Alliance were exceptional, especially those from Kamar-Taj University. Their knowledge was vast, and their character was impressive. It was clear to Dumbledore that using these students to strengthen the magical world—and its ties to Kamar-Taj—was a wise move.

But Dumbledore knew that Noah, a disciple of the Ancient One, would have been the perfect candidate for the Minister of Magic if he hadn't chosen to guard the temple. It was a shame, really.

"It's just an idea, Professor. You can think about it," Noah shrugged, unbothered.

"It's alright, but I'll feel pretty exhausted if I take on all that responsibility," Dumbledore joked.

"Professor, have you ever heard the saying, 'The capable should do more'?" Noah grinned.

"I've heard it. But shouldn't you, as the capable one, do even more?" Dumbledore raised an eyebrow.

Noah smirked. "Oh, by the way, Professor, I think your cat just ate a baby dragon. It swallowed it whole."
