"Good morning, mom. Where is my sister?" Ambessa said, greeting her mom with a kiss on her cheek.
"Morning, sweetie. She should be in her room," Jennei replied while reading a file.
"I noticed she was uncomfortable yesterday but she said she was ok. I went to check on her this morning, but she's not..." beep, Jennei's phone rang.
"Yes, it's me. Who is this?" she asked. "Are you sure about this?" she said.
"Who is this?" she asked. "Are you sure it's me?" she said. Jennei's facial expression changed. "Okay! I'll be right there," she said before ending the call and rose up in a hurry.
"Mom, what's wrong?" asked Ambessa.
"We need to go to the orphanage and call the family doctor to come home. I'll explain everything on the way," she said as she took the keys and headed to the entrance in a hurry.
"How is this possible? I have never heard of it," Ambessa said astonished on their way to the orphanage.
"Yes, darling," Jennei replied.
At the Orphanage
"Sister, what's going on?" Ambessa asked Trix sadly. Meanwhile, in the head office, the head of the orphanage and Mrs. Davis were speaking about Trix's problem.
"Miss Jenner, I'm sorry about this but the situation is a little critical," said Miss Amber to Miss Jenner.
"Could you please explain in detail?" asked Jenner distressedly.
"Alright, but as I said the time you could take her for examination, let nature take its course. We found her when she was 5 and apart from knowing her name she knew nothing about herself. We took her for examination and it was diagnosed that she has amnesia which was caused by forced hypnotisation," Miss Amber explained.
Mrs. Davis walked slowly out of the office and looked at the cute little girl that was the very moment she took in her features: black hair with a reddish hue in the rays of light, emerald green eyes, a small pointed nose, red lips and flawless skin. She thought, Who would hurt such a cute and innocent girl?

The director was right about her issues. This has caused her to get flashbacks but she won't remember anything, causing her to live in the past," Dr. Josiah diagnosed.
"When will she recover and can it be cured?" Jenner asked.
"By Monday, she would be alright and yes it can be cured. But it would take a long time and she would have to do it. Let her rest more and stay out of the cold. Goodbye," Josiah said.
He left, leaving everyone deep in thoughts.
"Mom, Dad, what's going on?" asked Trix, confused by everyone's reactions.
"Nothing, go to sleep, okay?" Jenner replied as she took Trix's hand to bed. They filed out of the room, switching off the lights.
Later into the night
As Ambessa was passing by Trix's room when she heard a noise. On instinct, she opened the door and went to the bed. Trix was talking about running: "I won't go with you big brothers said I should wait." Ambessa sat by her, comforting her that no one will take her away. As she slept, she stayed until the early morning.
"Is she asleep," whispered Jenner.
"Yeah, let's go to my study, we need to talking," Ambessa replied.
