Chapter 326 - Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [325]

On the small ship to Mars, Rhodes thought: if he's going to the Space Wolves, should he summon a werewolf-type monster?

What if the Wolves' gene-spiral mixed with beast genes?

There's a Revered One Dreadnought called Bjorn with the Wolves, who fought with Leman Russ himself. Rhodes considered making him into a super-beast.

The best material would be a werewolf-type monster. But werewolves are rare in the Ultra universe—only three have ever appeared.

One is from Ultraman Leo, more like a big dog than a wolf. Called the Alien Wolf, 57 meters tall, 19,000 tons; can shrink to human size, 1.8 meters, 90 kg, and can possess humans. Weakness: sunlight.

This one isn't suitable for super-beast fusion—average combat power, afraid of sunlight. Rhodes passed on him.

The other two—Wolf Gas and Wolf Fire—appear in Ultraman Gaia. Wolf Gas is 47 meters, 38,000 tons, a silver werewolf, average combat power, no energy beams.

But on a full moon, his genes awaken, he goes berserk, greatly increasing speed and strength.

Wolf fire is a red werewolf, 53 meters, 42,000 tons. Human-size form is 2.3 meters, 150 kg—an engineered beast sent by mysterious life forms, originally nine sent to Earth, eight killed, one survived and evolved to giant size.

Wolf Fire is an upgraded version of Wof Gar: bigger, stronger, and with fire breath.

Good news: all three can be summoned from the basic system shop, each for 100,000 system coins.

Bad news: their combat power is only average—no match for super-beasts, even weaker than Bemstar.

After thinking, Rhodes spent 200,000 system coins to summon both Wolf Gas and Wold Fire—a silver and a red werewolf.

Both can be upgraded: Wolf Gas to max for 25,000 coins, raising size, weight, and transformation ability. Wolf Fire needs 40,000 coins to max.

With full upgrades, Wolf Fire is stronger, and his fire breath is enhanced.

Both monsters are now at full size: 60 meters tall, over 50,000 tons, with enhanced werewolf transformation.

Rhodes then ordered Yapool to extract their genes and grow samples.

"Take these two monsters, extract samples, and grow flesh. I'll need them with the Space Wolves," Rhodes said.

"No problem, master!" replied Yapool.

The two monsters can serve as fusion material for Dreadnoughts, and Wolf Fire has another use: he can transform into a giant quadrupedal wolf, 40 meters tall, 70 meters long, fire-breathing.

With this, once the wolf king returns, he could merge and become the ultimate wolf lord—a giant red werewolf fighting on the battlefield!

But it's not time yet; the wolf king's whereabouts are still unknown, last seen near the Eye of Terror. Both monsters were fully upgraded for nearly 60,000 coins, reaching 60 meters and 50,000+ tons, with enhanced werewolf abilities. Blood samples were drawn, and with monster serum, Rhodes wanted to see if Fenris humans could accept the genes.

These werewolf gene soldiers might not suit other humans but could be perfect for Fenris. If combined with Space Marine transformation, who knows what might happen?

Soon, Rhodes' ship landed on Mars, and he met with Belisarius Cawl.

"Lord Rhodes, what brings you here?" Cawl greeted.

"I'll be going to Fenris soon, to persuade the Wolves to accept the Emperor's order. My two space fortresses will be left for you to upgrade," Rhodes said.

"Understood. I'll add new void arrays, Gellar fields, macro cannons, and lances. I'm also thinking of some extra modifications," Cawl answered.

"Oh? What do you have in mind?" Rhodes asked.

His two fortresses were as big as Blackstone Fortresses, so there was plenty of room for upgrades.

"Not major overhauls, but small changes. The protruding areas can be modified into small ports for motherships, landing craft, airdrop facilities, more personnel, and space units," Cawl explained.

The Phalanx was heavily modified for current needs, and Rhodes' fortresses could be even more so.

"Fine, take your time. Also, get the King Joe production line running and finish the 100 battle robots for my ship," Rhodes ordered.

"I have some opinions, Lord Rhodes. King Joe robots are better for ground combat. Except for your two giant models, the others aren't suited for space. Mechanized Ultra Warriors are better for space. I advise replacing all 100 with them," Cawl said.

Thanks to repairing the Golden Throne and with Mars's industrial support, both King Joe and Mechanized Ultra Warrior lines were running, both with void shields.

For ground combat, King Joe is better, but in space, the Mechanized Ultra Warriors are superior.

"You're right. Replace the 100 King Joes with Mechanized Ultra Warriors," Rhodes agreed.

Both robot types could be produced, but for space, Mechanized Ultras were better.

"Thank you for your trust, Lord Rhodes. For Mechanized Ultra Warriors, I suggest we prioritize the original Ultraman and Ace Robot," Cawl said.

"Oh? Are the others not good?" Rhodes asked.
