The time spent in Lumina was truly peaceful. Silvanus only needed to attend classes, absorb knowledge like a madman, then hurry back at night to continue forging the Sentinel.
Even so, forging a Sentinel was extremely difficult. Nearly a month had passed, and all Silvanus had managed to make so far was only the frame of one of its legs.
However, that peace was eventually torn apart by an unimaginable event.
Silvanus yawned as he headed toward the bed, only to see Vivian sprawled out with her tail swaying and her round belly on full display, looking incredibly content.
Silvanus couldn't help scratching her belly as he softly said, "Being a fox seems pretty nice… eat then sleep."
He wondered whether Vivian ever had worries in her life, but thinking again, she didn't even have any of her own kind. Her only concern was probably whether she could eat a chicken drumstick today.
