"Boom! Crash! Boom!"
The sound of collapsing architecture roared through the air, the massive wall behind Hermes crumbling under the shockwaves of the sound.
The deafening noise shredded everything nearby—it was so loud Hermes's ears nearly bled on the spot. His entire body was hurled backward along with the debris of the shattered wall, dragging the tightly bound Mrs. Andersen with him.
Hermes turned his head toward the grand hall below. Gritting his teeth, he tightened his grip and yanked Mrs. Andersen closer despite the splitting pain in his skull from the noise, then violently hurled her to the ground—though he still didn't release the restraints binding her!
The impact left a deep crater beneath Mrs. Andersen's body, yet she only screamed louder!
At that moment, all Hermes could do was cover his ears and stagger backward nonstop.
[Damn, that sound feels like it's tearing through my whole body—I'm just watching the stream and I can feel it…]
