The meeting was over, and while it ended a bit abruptly, everybody was a little surprised about James's behavior, but they went through the most important aspects and points, though not everybody left. While James went downstairs to play a little with Charlotte, or more like to paint and draw on the expensive marble, Bella and Hector stayed behind, and the atmosphere between them was anything but calm.
"He is breaking apart." Bella said with a voice that was rare to hear from her, the voice that was full of worry.
"He doesn't, it is just a lot to take in." Hector replied to her as he sighed. "He is young and went through the worst period… things happened fast, too fast." He glanced at her. "It is what it is but now we need to take care of our future and—"
"There is no future if he breaks down, Hector." Bella cut him off. "It is not just about the money, the family, the influence, it is about James."
"What do you mean?"
