Somehow all of it looked like the best atmosphere they had ever been in… it was just so different: the scent of the flowers, the sun shining in the big window, and of course Ferucci himself, just sleeping there, quite motionless, in his own world, in peace… in peace that he had deserved a long time ago but not in this way.
"Oh, Mister Bellini, long time no see." A doctor on the side said… James didn't even notice him being there.
"Doctor, indeed a long time." He said as he offered his hand, but thinking about it, it was the right moment to ask. "Say, doctor, how long will he be in a coma?" The question itself wasn't really a deep one, it was surface-level knowledge that he wanted to know. But looking at the doctor and seeing his face change upon hearing the question, James knew he had asked something that was indeed deep. "Don't try to paint it, doc, just tell the truth." James said, and it was all too visible in how the doctor's face changed, his eyes, his hand on his side.
