The was a shooter. He was very cruel and unkind. He killed the birds and ate them.
One day, a dove was struck in his net. When he took the dove and started walking back, clouds started gathering in the sky. Heavy rain started.
There was a thick Banyan tree nearby. The shooter waited under the tree for some time, Coincidently, a pigeon lived on the tree.
That was the pigeon whose dove the shooter had caught. He was crying as he was saddened by kidnapping of his wife.
The dove was touched to see her husband's love for her. She felt as if her life's purpose had been achieved.
She told her husband, "This shooter caught me, but you don't think about me. You must take care of the guest who has arrived at our house."
The shooter was shivering with cold. The male pigeon gathered some sticks and lit a fire. Because of the fire, the shooter felt warm and cosy.
The shooter was hungry, but there wasn't any thing to eat in the pigeon's home. "What can I do?' The pigeon thought.
The pigeon suddenly got an idea. He jumped into the fire so as to fulfill the shooter's hunger.
By seeing the sacrifice of her husband, the dove was touched and happy but she was sad too because she had lost her husband, the dove was touched and happy but she was sad too because she had lost her husband.
The shooter felt very bad. One of the birds that that he killed relentlessly did such a huge favor for him.
To stop his hunger, the pigeon sacrificed himself. His mind was very upset. He opened the door of the cage and let the dove free.
When the dove came out of the net there was only one thing on her mind, 'What is the reason to live now that my husband is dead?'
No one can imagine what the pure and loyal dove did next. She flew and dived into the fire. This story is very old but it's moral is still important as before.
It says a lot to awaken the sleeping humanity inside all of us.
