Chapter 15 - Chapter 15.

I got away almost immediately—regular people, even a true super like Stefanie Rogers, had a hard time pursuing me. And I was lucky enough to escape their flyer's spotlights quickly enough. I sat on the roof of a skyscraper, now in my "normal" form, not the "public" one (looking down and seeing "your breasts" is quite embarrassing, after all), with my legs dangling and waiting.

I waited for a little more time to pass, for the Avenger and S.H.I.E.L.D. to definitely return home, tired of searching for me, and I was still internally cursing and furious. Red-haired bitch! To set me up like that! Although, what else can you expect from a villain?

And how am I supposed to clear my already bad reputation now? Glancing at the bag next to me, I sighed sadly. Because of Rogers' hasty decision, I completely forgot about it and ran away with the loot. Well, at least Scorpia won't get it, no matter what it takes.

"Behind you, Carrier!" "The First warned again, and one of the tentacles acted on her command, striking someone. Damn, I was lost in my thoughts and didn't hear whoever was approaching.

"You?!" I growled as I stood up and turned around. Scorpia lay pinned to the roof by a tentacle wrapped around her chest. I created several more tentacles, pinning her arms, legs, and, most importantly, her tail to the roof. The villainess looked, to put it mildly, not very good.

One of the lenses of her mask was broken, another was cracked, new dents had appeared on her armor, definitely not from me, her hair was disheveled and looked more like a nest, her lips were split and the blood had already congealed on them, and the tail from her suit was trying to break free rather weakly, and it kept twitching in different directions.

But better safe than sorry—having transferred almost all of the symbiote's flesh into my tentacles, I also burrowed them into the roof like tree roots. Now the villain would have to work really hard to break free.

She struggled a bit, her armor's servos and synthmuscles whining and straining, but I held on tight.

"How did you find me?" I loomed over the woman.

"The bug is in my bag," she replied, "I put it there specifically for situations like this." I mentally slapped my forehead—I should have guessed! I also congratulated myself for not heading home right away.

Another tentacle lifted the bag, and then a flesh blade instantly sliced it open, sending wads of cash, jewelry, a small object wrapped in cloth, and a regular flash drive flying onto the roof. After searching every nook and cranny of the bag with my tentacles, I found the aforementioned bug and destroyed it.

I then inspected the entire contents of the bag, but nothing extra was found. I swept them into a pile with the same tentacles, forming a hollow ball at the end into which I placed the entire loot. Scorpia watched my actions closely, but said nothing.

"Listen..." the villain began.

"You!" I growled at her again and, lifting her by the body with a tentacle, lightly slammed her against the roof. The woman hissed in pain when she hit the back of her unprotected head.

"Because of you, they'll think I'm a villain now! That's definitely not what I wanted! And what should I do next? Even if I turn you in now and return the stolen goods, everyone will think I only did it because we had a falling out."

"Aren't you a villain?" Scorpia asked, surprised.

— With a face like that? She's only fit to scare children at night! Ha-ha-ha! — the woman laughed, but soon stopped, wincing in pain.

— Have you really written yourself off as a heroine? — I didn't intend to be either a hero or a villain, but now, thanks to you,

— I leaned a little closer to Scorpia, — I'll be considered the last!

— Not everything in this life goes as you wanted, — the woman answered rudely, — our meeting today is an example of that. Listen, come on… — the villain interrupted herself mid-sentence and stared at me questioningly.

— Where are your breasts? I froze. Holy shit! After all my tricks, it's so easy to get caught! I changed my damn appearance, thinking and hoping that I wouldn't meet anyone else,But the villain's greed and her damn bug ruined everything.

Why am I so unlucky? And he even used some words in the masculine gender instead of the feminine! Completely forgetting about secrecy and addressing himself as he was accustomed to.

Damn it! "So you're a boy?" the villain was genuinely surprised, apparently correctly interpreting my silence.

"Wow. There are simply no words. You wouldn't even think about it. Then why do you look like a woman?"

"Well, to avoid such reactions!" I replied angrily.

"New supers already attract a lot of attention, and what if it's a man? The whole city, maybe even the country, will be gossiping about it. I already have a hard time without a costume, and what if they know me as the new male super? Even the heroines and villains will give me no peace."

"Well, yes," Scorpia nodded, "there are only a few men, and you can count the supers on your fingers."

"I only know a couple of them, and they're in great demand. Listen, maybe you could give me my things? I'll even thank you, and not just financially," the villain winked.

A slight smile played on her face now, and she looked at me with a different gaze. Much softer and kinder.

"Don't even think about it! I don't know what exactly you stole, the money and jewelry or those things, but I won't give you anything. You're a villain."

"Oh, you're such a fool," the woman almost purred, fidgeting with her whole body, "do you only like good girls? Believe me, those fools aren't worth your attention." I even pulled away from her slightly; her demeanor had changed too abruptly when she found out I was a man.

"Oh, you know, this is the first time a man has pinned me to the floor, and done so roughly, and loomed over me, it's a very exciting feeling," Scorpia fidgeted again. Her breathing quickened, her heart began to pound, and she bit her bloody lower lip. Oh, woman. She was going down a completely different path. "I'm going to let you go now, I've had enough adventures for today. I wouldn't recommend following me, I'll notice, and you're not in the best of shape right now."

"Are you worried about me?" the woman asked immediately with a sly smile. I ignored her.

"And if you tell anyone I'm a man, then…"

"Then what?" Scorpia interrupted. "Hand me over to the police or S.H.I.E.L.D.? Prison won't hold me for long. Or will you punish me personally? Spank me?"

"Maul you," I replied, creating another small tentacle with a blade on the end and demonstratively waving it in front of the villain's face, causing her to gulp. Of course, I wasn't going to cut her, but I could scare her with it. "It seems you're quite proud of your face and body, judging by that March magazine."

"Oh, so you saw it? And how do you like me, hm?" I rolled my eyes at her words; it seemed the women of this world didn't know what it meant to give in when it came to men.

"I'll work on you so hard," I continued as if nothing had happened, "that not a single woman will even look at you, let alone a man. I hope we understand each other," with these words, I slowly withdrew the tentacles, but didn't pull them in.and took a few steps back. Scorpia merely sat up and looked at me strangely. I didn't want to continue the fight.

Firstly, the burn on my back was incredibly painful and I was already feeling weak; secondly, Scorpia herself was in poor condition; and thirdly, if I turned her in now, she'd definitely tell everyone I was a man. They might not believe her, of course, but they'd certainly make a note of it.

And there was a chance she'd keep this secret to herself. Seeing that the woman clearly wasn't in the mood to continue our fight, I turned and headed for the edge of the roof, intending to return to my apartment to rest and check on the wound. As I neared the edge, Scorpia's voice reached me: "You say you don't want to be a villain? But you threaten like some of my friends," the woman smirked. In response, I merely frowned and jumped to another building.

As one actor from my world, an action star and martial artist, used to say about himself in a cartoon: "Bad day!" And it didn't matter whether he was caught in a trap, fighting a horde of shadow ninjas, or fleeing from a dragon. Today was definitely one of those days for me.
