Watching his tension ease, Elena couldn't help but tease him, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
"You know, our sons really look like you."
"I know," Ethan replied helplessly. "Grandpa tells me that almost every day."
It had gotten to the point where he stood in front of the mirror with the babies, carefully comparing their faces to his own, and to see exactly what his grandpa meant.
Elena chuckled, glancing back and forth between Baby Max and Ethan.
The resemblance was uncanny. As it turned out, she had ended up with a miniature Ethan—not just one, but three.
"Wife, I have something to tell you."
"Hmm... What is it? Max, stop staring at Mommy; it's time to sleep now," Elena said, lulling him gently.
"Is there any chance that someone with an ability can control large-scale animals?"
"Yes. I once met a Tier 6 control-type ability. It single-handedly controlled all the mutated animals below its tier on a large scale."
