Bram looked at Rayliegh, trying to see if he was joking.
"Rayleigh, can you please repeat what you just said?"
Rayleigh stood up straight.
"I would like to have The Alucard. Please."
Uldess stepped in front of Rayleigh and slapped him.
"I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS RAYLEIGH. I MADE A PROMISE TO BOTH YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER THAT I WOULD KEEP YOU SAFE."
Uldess was shaking, and Rayliegh could see his true form leaking out.
"Uldess I understand why you are concerned, but I have made up my-"
"I DON'T CARE. I AM HERE TO LOOK AFTER YOU AND ENSURE YOUR SAFETY!"
Rayleigh was getting irritated. Why couldn't he tell them about Seb? If he could, then this would be simpler. Bram put his hand on Uldess's shoulder.
"Uldess, please calm down, you're going to destroy my shop."
Uldess stopped talking and then turned to face Bram.
"I assume that you are going to agree to Rayleigh's request, and that there is a reason?"
"You know me too well, and yes, there is a reason. Rayleigh isn't affected by the common curse."
Alex stepped forward.
"What is the common curse?"
Rayleigh could feel the nervousness in his voice; he couldn't blame him, he had never seen Uldess lose his temper before.
"The common cures is a cures that is put on all cursed weapons[1]. The curse makes anyone who is offered a cursed weapon accept it without hesitation and then become completely reliant on it."
"And what does this have to do with you giving The Alucard to Rayleigh?"
"Well, when I asked him if he wanted a cursed weapon, he refused, meaning that it doesn't affect him."
Uldess looked like he understood what Bram was saying.
"But, that still doesn't answer my question of why you want to give him The Alucard. You could give him any other one you have in your inventory."
"It's simple, Uldess. You know what ability The Alucard has?"
"Yes. It absorbs the blood of the people it stabs and turns it into a red gas that can heal someone's injury, no matter how severe, but if used too much, it will turn them into a dhampir."
"That is correct, but I have learnt something. The more you use the red gas, the stronger you become. Until recently, we thought that you would become stronger because you would have become a dhampir, but apparently, The Alucard takes the powers of the people it has stabbed and then gives it to its user, making them stronger."
Uldess stopped talking, realizing what he just said.
"Rayleigh, you want to use The Alucard to take the powers of the demon lords."
Raleigh nodded.
"So, you weren't planning on using it regularly?"
"Yes, that was my plan."
"I see. I am sorry I lost my temper."
Rayleigh understood that Uldess had good intentions, so he forgave him.
"Right then, so you want to take The Alucard. I am sorry, but I can't just give it to you. I need to know that you can protect it."
Rayleigh knew what was going to happen.
"So, Raleigh. Can we have a quick sparing match to see if you are qualified for it?"
"Ok."
Bram gave a smile
"That's what I like to hear. LET'S HAVE A BLOOD BATH!!
