CHAPTER 18
Zaorah City Mental Hospital
Betty lay on her hospital bed, restrained by straps that started from her shoulders and extended down to her waist.
She had been acting out of character since her encounter with Jake and his men. They had tortured her mentally, eventually landing her in the mental hospital.
A nurse walked up to her to administer her daily dose.
"Stay away! Ahhhhh! Don't come any closer. You cannot kill me! Ahhh!"
The poor nurse quickly injected the medication into her IV drip and hurried away.
They had been warned not to initiate conversations with patients who acted out, as doing so could stimulate them further.
"Dr. Droid, I don't think the patient in Ward 307 can be discharged in a week's time," the nurse said to the doctor seated nearby, regarding Betty's condition.
