"Leave her alone, you vile demon!!" A boisterous voice of a boy in his early teens rang out. A dark crimson sword cleaved through the air and came down in an overhead chop.
Perhaps it might have worked had he been silent about it, or perhaps not. Nevertheless, with him shouting like that, there was no way the demon was getting hit.
Easily, it dodged the attack and backed away.
CLANG… the sword dropped on the ground, missing its mark. Nevertheless, the boy had achieved his goal.
