The darkness stretched from all directions.

Through the haze in his mind, Kyle could just barely keep himself conscious.
He could hardly recall what had happened. Despite this, in that hazy state he was in, bits and pieces of memory began to resurface in Kyle's mind.

Memories of the last moments replayed in his mind.
Seth. The Jester.
And everything that came from his last moments. But such memories were hazy. He could just barely make sense of them. They felt more like hazy photographs than memories.
'...Did I... die?'
It felt like it.
The world around him felt incredibly cold, and he barely felt his own consciousness.

Kyle could still feel something, albeit faintly. He couldn't quite make sense of what was happening, falling into this strange limbo as he sank further and further into the darkness.
It was cold.
So cold.
Time seemed to move to a crawl. Kyle lost complete track of it.
