Chapter 180 - Oni Armor

"Tony's efficiency is as ridiculous as ever… this is insane." It had only been a few days, and Tohka had already received a package from Tony. That afternoon, after everyone saw Loki off, Tony disappeared—apparently locking himself in his villa to tinker with something.

Of course, when Loki saw Tohka again, he subconsciously shivered. Clearly, that time when he'd been swatted away like a baseball—and spent the entire New York battle doing nothing—had left him with deep psychological scars.

"So, this is your armor? Hurry up and put it on—I want to see!" But of all people, Miku Izayoi had the biggest reaction when she saw the armor. She was literally drooling as she stared at Tohka. Clearly, she was fantasizing about how Tohka would look wearing it. She'd never imagined Tohka would pick such a design.

"Ugh… I'm kind of regretting this now." At first, she'd just thought it would be fun to cosplay Raiden Mei, but now she'd made herself uncomfortable. Still, since she'd designed the appearance herself, there was no backing out—she had to wear it no matter what.

Then Tohka took off her jacket, standing in just her underwear while Miku Izayoi drooled even harder. She began putting on the armor piece by piece, and finally, when she placed the mask over her face, she was fully suited up.

"This… why do I look exactly like Raiden Mei? What the hell…" Staring at her reflection in the mirror, Tohka's mouth twitched. What was this? Sure, the Sabers all looked alike, but this was the first time she'd ever personally experienced such a case of identical faces.

"Uuu… Tohka, you're so beautiful…" But just then, Miku Izayoi suddenly pounced on her from behind, hugging her and rubbing herself all over her. And her hands were anything but innocent—one of them was already creeping up to caress Tohka's exposed, snowy thigh.

"Enough already! What is wrong with you? Are you going to say 'I want to drink Tohka's little sister juice' next? Get off me!" Being groped until her whole body went weak, Tohka struggled desperately and finally shook Miku Izayoi loose.

"Uuu… why are you like this… You really look amazing in that armor. Just go outside if you don't believe me." Miku Izayoi pouted, glaring at her indignantly.

"Fine… but this outfit is really annoying…" Looking herself over, Tohka realized it was nowhere near as convenient as her old armor. Since this was a partial suit, Tony hadn't installed the automatic deployment system. So, every time she put it on, she'd probably have to manually strap everything in place one piece at a time.

"Wait—should I try using the Space Stone?" But just then, Tohka remembered the Space Stone in her possession. She'd read in novels how many characters had their own personal subspace, and she wondered whether she could use the Space Stone to create a little dimension for herself. At least then she could store the armor and materialize it with a thought—just like her Spirit Dress.

"Let me see… this gem—Hey, wake up! Weren't you supposed to be studying this thing? What have you been doing these past few days? Just sleeping?" Entering her mental space, Tohka found Reverse Tohka sitting on the throne, snoring away. Did she ever do anything besides sleep? Wasn't she supposed to be analyzing the Space Stone? It wouldn't explode, but why did she feel so depressed and scammed?

"Mm… what are you doing here again? Watching me starve?" Woken up by Tohka's yelling, Reverse Tohka glared at her irritably.

"All you think about is eating. Are you afraid you'll starve even in your sleep? Don't forget—this is a mental space. You can't get hungry here." Tohka gave her a speechless look. Why did it feel like her reversed self had exactly the same personality? She knew she herself was a glutton, but she hadn't expected her alter ego to be just as bad. Still, this wasn't the time to get sidetracked. "So, how's the Space Stone coming along? I want to see if I can create a little dimension—so my armor can be stored inside it."

"Your armor?" Reverse Tohka blinked in confusion, then glanced outward. Realization dawned on her face. "You really like wasting time on pointless little gadgets, huh… but fine. It's doable. Creating a small pocket dimension isn't that hard."

She picked up the Space Stone in front of her and pressed it lightly. Immediately, Tohka felt a strange energy wave wash over her. In the next instant, the armor vanished from her body—leaving her in her underwear again.

"Wow… so convenient… Could I put all my stuff in there from now on?" Seeing this, Tohka's eyes sparkled. If she could, she'd put a bed in there—so she could sleep anywhere. And a mountain of food—so she'd never go hungry again. Honestly, her ambitions really were that modest.

If Nick Fury ever found out, he'd probably slap her in the face. So much potential—and she was wasting it on snacks. Why couldn't she store something actually useful, like… I don't know… a nuclear warhead… or another nuclear warhead… or more nuclear warheads…

"Tch… what the hell are you fantasizing about now?" Reverse Tohka rolled her eyes and decided she couldn't even be bothered to comment.

"Sorry, but this is as much space as I can manage for now. Maybe a book would fit—anything more is impossible. Now get out and stop bothering me. Otherwise, someone's going to take advantage of you."

"…?" Tohka was confused, but before she could say anything else, she was shoved out of the mental space. And when she opened her eyes, she finally understood why—because Miku Izayoi's hands were already reaching for her chest. But when she saw Tohka abruptly snap awake, she froze mid-grope.

"A-hahaha… Tohka… You were just sitting there cross-legged without moving, so I was worried you'd fallen into danger. And your armor suddenly disappeared—what if that happened in a real fight? You'd be giving everyone a free show…" Miku Izayoi quickly retracted her hands and started babbling excuses.

"….."

Tohka stared at her silently for a moment, then got up from the bed. She began pulling her clothes on piece by piece. Then, with a thought, the armor materialized over her body.
